“Superb!!!! Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2014 via mobile

I visited the distillery with three of my friends. We are great whisky fans and were absolutely delighted with our experience. Our tour guide ,Vanessa was both, entertaining and informative with a wealth of knowledge and therefore would definitely recommend the tour and the whisky. Beautiful building as well. Thank you for the great experience.

“Best distillery tour ever.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

I have done a fair amount of distillery tours but this one was probably the best, myself and my wife were lucky enough to be in a small party of 6 people in total, the tour guide Rainer, was interesting, witty, and very knowledgeable, not only about Blair Athol but the industry in general, for £6.50 a person, very good value for money, and the single malt is lovely.

“Very Enjoyable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

Myself and 18 friends visited Blair Athol as part of a stag party. The tour itself was made even more special by our guide Rainer. He was kept the tour very entertaining and he has a great sense of humor as well as his excellent knowledge.

Our tour driver arranged for us to tour this facility and I really enjoyed the commentary by the distillery worker.

“Whiskey lovers Paradise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 February 2014

Visited here last month (Jan 2014), did it with our friends of the Diageo Distileries passport, which gets you a free tour and dram at 12 of Diagio's distileries as well as a discount in the shop and the odd email with some great whiskey offers and tips.

This was the best distilery or Brewery tour i've been on (and i've done a few), our guide had a tough group, but worked hard to answer the barage of questions and was passionate and knowedable about the topic and the distilery.

The whiskey tasting wasn't too shabby either and I picked up a bargain in the shop, with excellent guidance from our guide, still loving the bottle of Caol Ila, cheers!

My advice, if whiskey is your thing and you have an 1hr or two spare in Pitlochry, this is the place to go!
