My wife and I spent a couple of nights earlier this week at the Knockendarroch House Hotel. It was our third visit. As before our stay was most enjoyable. We were allocated the Four Poster Bedroom which was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner on both days were excellent. Liz and her team made us feel most welcome and we are already looking forward to our next visit in the Spring.

Took a Dinner Bed and Breakfast deal over a weekend in Pitlochry staying at Knockendarroch House Hotel. We were going to the enchanted forest event. If you are attending this sound and light show event ( which is great incidentally) then be sure to get advice on timing which session to book onto and arrange your visit to the forest to link with dinner back at the hotel either before or after. It worked out very well for us but might have been a little tricky and our arrangement was more by luck than judgement. The hotel itself is very well located for all the amenities of the town but set back enough to be quiet and secluded. We were blessed with weather so the views were absolutely stunning. The house is full of character, warm and well provided for - and felt very much like an extension of home. The sitting rooms are particularly grand. The staff were endlessly helpful, warm and welcoming. Food was sensational, well presented and delicious with some delightful personal touches. Room was well appointed, clean and warm with all you could need. Thanks for a lovely stay - we will certainly visit again.

Room Tip: We took a superior with a four poster - lovely

Lovely hotel with the features you would expect in a house of this age and there was plenty of parking near to the front door.

Service was exceptional- the staff were very helpful at all times without being over the top. One night when we went to go out the heavens opened up and we were offered a brolly. In the restaurant the food was tasty and portions were a good size.

The Hotel organised tickets for us for the theatre and the seats were excellent.

Room Tip: Our only niggle was that we had two single mattresses pushed together and my husband kept finding hi...

We booked a table for dinner to celebrate a special occasion and we were not disappointed. First a lovely warm welcome, then drinks and canapes in the lounge next to a fantastic roaring fire and then a delicious 3 course meal in the dining room. All the food was of an incredible standard and full of flavour. We highly recommend that you go for the cappuccino creme brulee...one of the best we have tasted! We will be back.

Just back from a fantastic one night stay at this hotel. Very friendly, attentive staff served us the most delicious 3 course dinner we've had in a long time - recommend the pork main! Our room was very clean, bright and airy and the lounge with the roaring fire was a perfect end to a great evening.

We chose the smaller hotel over the larger Atholl Palace as we wanted a private stay to relax. We were not disappointed as the building is delightfully cosy with a lovely sitting room over looking the stunning valley. We ate dinner on the first evening and had an excellent choice with perfect timing and service. Huge choice if whiskeys for a night cap by the fire. We stayed in a balcony room which had a stunning view. Rooms are slightly on the small side due to type if building but the bed was extremely comfortable and everything is finished to a high standard. Wi fi doesn't reach the rooms but to be honest when trying to get away from it all it was quite refreshing. The staff are all very polite and friendly without being over bearing. A wonderful little getaway. Many thanks.
