“A dining room with a view.”

Lovely outlook over Loch Faskally. A mix of self-serve and waitress service. Food fresh and tasty, and reasonable value.
Iced water available ad lib - a nice touch.

“Beautiful venue - disappointing cafe”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

On arriving for show decided to have a slice of cake and tea. Service was poor; slow and not too friendly. Server carried on talking to a local the whole time serving me. Cake when served was hard, and tea tasted over brewed. Very disappointing. Venue and views though very nice indeed.

“Lunch with a view”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

We had an enjoyable lunch here before the matinee. Self service but staff efficient at keeping
tables cleared. The beautiful setting above the river is an added bonus. The restaurant and
bar were extremely busy, so they must be doing something right!!

“Overpriced”
Reviewed 10 November 2013 via mobile

Ate here before going to see The Steamie and was a bit disappointed in the whole experience. The restaurant area is very canteen like could be doing with a bit of an upgrade. The food although very acceptable was very overpriced. Service was very efficient in fact too efficient almost regimental.
If going to the theatre again would probably consider somewhere else to eat.
