We found this hotel by accdent, and we are very gad we did. It is just our style, traditionally furnished. We stayed twice, on our way North and again on our return. Room 3, which we occupied during our second stay, was a lot better than the suite (14) we had on our first visit. The staff are friendly and wecoming and service, both at reception and in the dining room was first-rate. You must have dinner, the food is superb!

Hotel is well situated although up a hill for walking. Hotel is ok but needs attention to housekeeping.
Room comfortable but needs attention to cleaning. Mentioned it when leaving and told the comment would be passed onto management. Breakfast fine. This hotel is run by friendly staff who were more than obliging but lack of management/ownership shows. Overpriced.

Room Tip: No lifts so rooms need to be allocated due to personal ability

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that the staff looked after you well in my absence. Unfortunately, although "management" is normally hands on, an extended period of illness has not made this possible for the last couple of months. We are now back on track and hope that the next time you visit, your experience will be much improved!!

Pine Trees is set in lovely grounds a short walk from the centre of town. Traditionally furnished it offers good comfort and reflects the charming atmosphere of the region. The bar is a nice meeting point, but perhaps the furnishings in there could be less utilitarian!

Service excellent, food excellent, in quiet setting surrounded by extensive grounds. Near to the famous theatre in Pitlochry, This little hotel is a gem and is an excellent place to stop over if travelling further north, or visiting the surrounding area. The hotel itself has an antique air in the reception hall, with some rather dated board games which are still fun - like monopoly & scrabble.

Room Tip: Worth asking for a superior room and ours had a 4 poster bed!

We only spent one night but wished we had stayed longer. The town is within easy walk and a lovely little place it is. There is an abudence of walks to do in the area to keep you busy so the breakfast provided sets you up for the day. The service and staff were first class, warm and friendly from start to finish with nothing being to much trouble. They were able to provide Lactose free milk and vegan options. The rooms where comfortable, but the decore of the place is founderful and all in keeping.

For several years, we have arranged a short summer break staying at The Pine Trees Hotel. To date we have been most impressed with friendly service, staff going that extra mile to provide a quality sandard. The hotel generally is extremely well presented and the bedroom, in particular, is cleaned daily to an execellent standard. The food too is well presented, of fine choice and of excellent quality. Pitlochry, it self,is a delightful Scottsh town (yes, even in the rain) and there are other equally delightful Scottish towns only a short drive away. We are particulary fond of Aberfeldy and a visit to the Watermill Bookshop should not be missed.

If you are seeking Scottish tradition, with fine food and hospitality, visiting Ptilochry to stay at the Pine Trees Hotel is a must.

This grand victorian mansion is a superb location. Not far from the high street, but set in its own ground. The interior of the public areas are well preserved. Impressive.

The bar offered a wide range of whskies and a great wine list.

The room we had faced the front, looking out to the lawn and pine trees. The room was small, clean and in keeping with the period of the house. Comfy bed.

Breakfast was top notch, with kitchen cooked hot breakfast dishes available. I had the smoked haddock and poached egg. The only criricsim, breakfast finishes at 9.30 am, even on a Sunday. I phoned down at 9.30am but was told I had missed the breakfast. This was on a Sunday so I think for the amount you pay for the room a guest should have the luxury of a longer sleep.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front look onto the pine trees and lawn.
