My 19 year old daughter and I had an excellent stay here for four nights in early June. Tony and Irene were kind, thoughtful and very helpful hosts. Our room was beautiful and clean and very cozy. Breakfasts were plentiful and served in a sunny room. We were traveling by train and bus, and our hope was to hike in the Highlands and see some out of the way places. Tony and Irene loaned us hiking maps, made helpful suggestions about local walks, and got us bus schedules to help us get to farther-off places like Kinloch Rannoch. After a hearty and delicious breakfast each morning, we took off and discovered ancient Pictish roads in the moorlands of Clunie Walk, Belach walk, and the extraordinary quiet beauty of Kinloch Rannoch. When we came back to Dunmuarry Lodge each day, we enjoyed the warmth of the lounge and our comfortable room, with tea and treats set out for us. It was perfect! Tony picked delivered us to and from the train station with a warm welcome and heartfelt farewell.

Twenty nights across the UK from bottom to top, and this was our favourite B&B. Great room, helpful hosts, fabulous breakfasts, we really couldn't have asked for more.

We have enjoyed another B&B in Pitlochry for a number of years but the landlady had decided to give up so we needed to find somewhere new. We really do not have enough words to praise Tony and Eileen for their efficiency, friendliness and service. As others have said the room was immaculate, the food excellent and the whole experience second to none. We left to stay in a 4-star luxury hotel in another part of Scotland. The manager of the hotel would do well to see how guests should be treated - and are at Dunmurray. Excellent all round.

My fiance and I stayed for 2 nights and were extremely impressed. The location is excellent and the accommodation was first class. The breakfast choice was vast, varied and superb with locally sourced fish and meats. The rooms were of a very good size and there was plenty of room. The beds were excellent with crisp, clean, linen. To round off the experience the hosts Tony and Irene were extremely helpful and their local knowledge was well informed and accurate, nothing was too much trouble and this made for a superb all round experience. Very highly recommended.

Pitlochry is a wonderful town to visit and Dunmurray lodge is the perfect place to stay for your visit! Its location is ideal. It is a short distance out of the town center so it is peaceful, quiet and easy to get to and is set on a slight hill so the tranquil views are quite refreshing. I loved walking into town on the short residential street, looking at everyone’s gardens and passing a picturesque church. There is plenty of parking in back. Our room was the Murray suite with two rooms for the three of us. We had a delightful bay window with two chairs and table and everything you could want for tea or coffee. It was very comfortable, clean and pleasant. The shower took a bit of work to get it right so the first two through had a wee bit of trouble with temperature but by the time I used it , we had it down and it was great. Get it at the right temp and leave it there is the best advice. There was a nice garden surrounding the house and a nice common sitting room to relax in after dinner. Breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety for choices including porridge, all kinds of eggs, haggis, and even waffles! There were cheeses and fruit, too! A wonderful stay!

We have been visiting Pitlochry for a number of years now and the town itself is a lovely place with some nice places to have a meal, (Logierait Inn last night was superb), Salmon Ladder, superb golf course, some nice shopping, several good walks, distilleries are nearby (a visit to Edradour is a must, a superb free guided tour and a free dram for all).

What makes Pitlochry so special for our family is the Dunmurray Lodge. Tony and Irene are a lovely couple who have a vast knowledge of the town and areas near and a bit further afield. They take excellent care of their guests and are a very friendly, helpful and charming couple.

Dunmurray Lodge is very comfortable and very well maintained home.A beautiful guest lounge with books of all kinds, hi-fi, games and magazines is available for guests. Bedrooms are light and airy, very comfortable and well equipped, decorated in a contemporary style, all with en suite, facilities, fluffy towels and flat screen TV.

The choice and quality of food at breakfast is absolutely first class with all diets catered for. Lots of fesh local produce if you fancy the traditional Scottish breakfast but fresh fruit, cheeses, a massive arrange of cereals, fresh juices, kippers........ the list goes on and on.

If you want a quiet and relaxing break in stunning location, with excellent accomodation, charming hosts, great food and leisure opportuinities, get you to Pitlochry and stay at the Dunmurray Lodge.

Who knows we might see you there !!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Dunmurray Lodge in the Robertson Room. It had a nice view of the town and mountains. Tony and Irene are very welcoming and helpful. The location is good for walking into Pitlochry or Moulin. Breakfast was delicious, and served in a very cheery room.
