our party of 7 stayed here from 27/12/2013 until 29th. the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely and warm and food was excellent, some of the rooms were updated and others have still to be refurbished. It was a first visit to Pitlochry for two of my friends and they were very impressed by the welcome they received at The Fishers. we will be back 2014.
Just returned from a wonderful Christmas at this Hotel. I stayed there for five days and they were most enjoyable. The Staff from the Manager down were most pleasant and the food of a very high standard. The Weather over this period was very cold and extremely windy but the Hotel was always warm and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel and hope to return in the future.
Stayed here overnight on 19th Dec, and was allocated a room at the rear of the hotel on ground level; perfectly adequate and warm with nice bathroom; the room furniture particularly the wardrobe, was a bit dated with the wardrobe door not shutting properly; the facilities and rooms of the hotel have been refurbished in some parts with the staff very pleasant and helpful; we had dinner which was well presented and tasty; breakfast next am was once again fine with very pleasant service; service in the restaurant & bar was extremely good but the hotel midweek was probably only 25% occupied; overall the stay was very enjoyable and with the hotel in the heart of the main street a big added bonus for visits to local retail;
Stayed for 2 nights DBB and went to matinee performance at theatre with family members. Overall it was an enjoyable break with clean, warm rooms and excellent service from friendly staff. Only minor issues/complaints was that it was the same menu for dinner for both nights and that tea/coffee is not included with the dinner. We did pay for coffee but there were no mints! But otherwise a great place to stay!
6 of us had a great 3 day break,no one had any complaints about the hotel,good food,drink and entertainment,only thing was you have to go to Perth for the nearest bookmakers as there is not one in Pitlochry.
We spent 2 days here and were very impressed by the friendly, efficient service and warm welcome, beginning with a complimentary sherry or whisky. The room, while not luxurious was perfectly acceptable although the bed was rather hard. The best thing about this hotel is not its central location or excellent breakfast but its staff from the smiling, helpful receptionist to the manager, Kieran who gave us a lift to the theatre when he heard us enquiring about transport. This kind of attention to guests' needs mean many return visits are on the cards!
