From the minute you arrive and are greeted by Pauline you feel right at home.
The house is beautiful!
Breakfasts are out of this world and bountiful.
It is located centrally but on a quiet side street so there is no traffic noise to worry about.
We stayed in room #1 and it was very spacious and comfortable. A nice surprise was the pieces of millionaires shortbread and a wee dram of Whisky left for you on the dressing table.
We will be back.

My wife and I had a gorgeous stay for 4 nights.

The breakfast was just delicious, the berries in October just unbelievable, the haggis and the black pudding beyond compare. The room was immaculate, and Pauline the best host I have met in the b&bs I have visited so far :-)

An excellent B&B the best my husband and I have stayed in. The warm welcome from Pauline on arrival and her local knowledge both historical and places to visit is fabulous . The breakfast selection of fruit compote home made yoghurt and either porridge or full cooked was lovely.
The rooms are stylish and relaxing with many extra touches which adds to the experience. We will certainly be back again to continue to explore this area.

Just returned from a two night break away with my boyfriend in Pitlochry. We picked this B&B after reading the fantastic reviews on Tripadvisor. I cannot praise this B&B enough- it is absolutely beautiful. We were greeted at our car by Pauline the owner who was so welcoming and helped carry in our luggage. She showed us to our room ( Room 1) which was simply stunning. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard-Pauline has impeccable taste in interior design. We had a beautiful big bathroom with shower and a fabulous roll top bath. Pauline herself is very knowledgeable and was able to tell us the history of her home and key facts of Pitlochry and the surrounding area.
Breakfast was excellent with a huge amount of choice from cereals, home made vanilla yoghurt, museli and compote. There was also a selection of cold meats and smoked fish to choose from and that was just for starters! A cooked breakfast followed which was cooked to order and was delicious and really did set us up for the day.
As we were only staying for a few days, Pauline was able to provide us with a driving route of the surrounding area which let us take in the main sights. There is a lot more of this part of Scotland which we would like to see and we will definitely making Northlands our accommodation of choice for future visits. Thankyou again to Pauline for her warm and welcoming hospitality.

Northlands is dreamy little hide-away in Scotland. Perfectly situated off the towns center just on the hillside - this B&B is both relaxing but still within walking distance to much of everything. My mornings were greeted with fresh coffee and yummy breakfast followed by working beside the fireplace - and in the evening we walked down through the garden to the towns shops and restaurants.

Just within a short drive you can enjoy castles, churches, antique shopping, whitewater rafting, whiskey tasting and even the hunt for Nessie!

If my friends and family cant find me for a few days on end - before filing a missing persons report they should phone Northlands to see if I am there!

From the moment we booked our reservation with Pauline until we left we were made to feel very welcome AND special. The house is from the 1800's and is beautifully decorated to the period, but, with all the modern accomodations, including a laptop for use by guests, which was very helpful to us. A very unexpected treat was the decanter in the room for nightcap purposes with a "wee dram" of Single Malt and some very good confectioners candies - what a perfect ending to the day! Beds were exceptionally comfortable, breakfast was hot and delicious and Pauline very gracious and informative. The area of Pitlochry is beautiful and we were lucky to be there for the annual Highland Games and Parade of Bagpiper bands consisting of over 300 pipers - very emotional!!

Our next visit to Scotland will definitely include a trip to both Pitlochry AND Northlands B&B again!
