From the moment you walk in the front door, all stress and fatigue melts away. Andrea and Martin are fabulous hosts and run their B&B with passion and care. Craigatin is a very attractive, historic building, beautifully restored and the recently enlarged conservatory, where delicious breakfasts are served, looks out on the well-kept garden and sun-deck. Room standard is very high and you could easily be mislead for thinking that you could be staying at a first class hotel, all the pampering details taken into account. At the moment of reservation (very pleasant e-mail exchange) Andrea had recommended Serenity Tours run by Iain Stewart (www.serenityscotland.co.uk). We booked a tour through the highlands with them and it was excellent. Great driver and guide, his knowledge combined with his wonderful personality made for a very informative and fun tour. We ended up singing in Gaelic on the Isle of Skye!
We shall visit Scotland again and make sure to stay at the Craigatin's, but rather on our way back. If you start with this gem of a B&B all the others can only be also-rans.
Thank you very much Andrea and Martin!More
