Not our first visit to Pitlochry, but certainly one of our best stays. Hotel clean, [ how many clean the outside windowsills? ] owners & staff friendly and efficient, and good food. Room good size and plenty room in the ensuite for two people - at the same time. Several larger hotels could learn.

Room Tip: Front rooms have decent views

we had booked through the local tourist information office and then gone on the hotel. We were travelling as a family and our two sons had a room on the ground floor while we were offered an upgrade to room 4 which has a lovely view and a larger bed. We took the upgrade even though it cost extra and it was a good move!

The room was a good size with all the facilities you would expect, including two chairs looking out the window at the local river/valley, althougth the bathroom was relativley cramped.

I had a really good nights sleep in a quiet house, which i had not fully expected as i feared the relativey old house, with a number of rooms, would creak in the night as late arriving guests negotiated the stairs.

The breakfast was abundant and of a good quality; more than enough to keep us going through the day.

All in all a very good experience and if i pass through Pitlochry agian would happily return.

We had a lovely say at this hotel for an anniversary trip to Pitlochry. The hotel and staff are fabntastically welcoming and make you feel at home within a minute of arriving. At the same time the accommodation quality is excellent and - top tip - have dionner here! It's really top quality and good value (you're not short of choice in Ptlochry but this really is very good).

Room Tip: Room 3 has fantastic view to both the east and south

Wonderful hotel. We had room 7 (attic room). Watch your head going up, but once you are there wow was it worth it. Large spotless Room with a gorgeous view. Only there for one night. Had breakfast and dinner, both beautiful. We were able to walk into town in a minute. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

When visiting the Pitlochry Festival Theatre we make a point of booking in here for dinner bed & breakfast for a few nights because we always get a warm welcome from Helen & Peter, the rooms are very clean & comfortable, and the food is superb. The hotel is in an excellent location for the town and the theatre. We thoroughly recommend it.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my elderly mother. The hotel was spotless and the room was spacious. View from room 7 was great, although we had to use stairs as there is no lift. I am a coeliac (can't eat gluten) so sometimes I end up only having salad and steak in hotels, but the range and quality of food on offer was excellent, and I had a choice for each course. I would definitely return.

Room Tip: Views best form upper floors, but there is no lift.

I've just returned from Scotland and my stay at Tigh was definitely one of the highlights. My family and I felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Helen was very helpful and friendly, and she ensured that we were all comfortably settled in. The views from the windows were breathtaking, even in cloudy weather! I would say that my overall impression of this lovely place is that of a cozy cottage. Next time I will book for 3 nights!
