After being lucky enough to find this warm and friendly hotel some years ago we have returned time and again and that has to be a recommendation in itself. The staff are always most helpful, nothing is too much trouble and the hosts are on hand without being intrusive. We always book for B&B but usually take dinner on several nights also. The food is on a par with all the other restaurants we have tried in the town over the years and the 3 course dinner is excellent value for money. Ideally situated for the town and the surrounding area we cannot speak highly enough and will definitely be going back. We have never before left a review on Trip Advisor but this hotel warrants us doing so.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are superb, however, those on the front offer stunning views across the valley.

This was a spur of the moment check in and what a location. Tucked up a narrow street just above the town centre. You can walk throught the garden down the hill to the main street.
We were taken to our family room, tucked away at the back of the hotel, however we still had a front facing window where we could admire the view. The room was immaculate with bedding and light furnishings all matching. The ensuite was so clean i would have even considered a bath here which is an accomplishment for me.
One downfall was the badly made bed. Please please please when making a bed with proper sheets make it from the head down and use hospital corners. Do not tuck in the top sheet as this onll aids the bottom sheet to come loose when using the bed at night. The sheet became so loose that i didn't really hav a good nights sleep.
Breakfast in the morning was superb with 2 people serving and the cooked breakfast was brilliant.
Thanks for a greta stay.
I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

This surely has to be the best hotel in Pitlochry. The hosts, the staff, the rooms, the location all excellent. The food is exceptional. Sorry that we only stayed 4 nights DBB. Must stay longer next time.

This is a well situated hotel, overlooking Pitlochry, with a very convenient path through the garden down to the town. It has its own car park, although the entrance from the road to this, with a bend between walls is not the easiest if one has a big car.
Our room had luxurious furnishings, particularly the bedspread, which we folded and removed because we worried about tripping over the low corners in an unfamiliar room, if needing to go to the toilet in the night, in the dark, the but it shared the common fault of the wall mounted TV being too high for comfortable viewing.
We were pleased that on an unusually cold evening for August, when the central heating was not yet on, a request was quickly met with the provision of a portable electric heater, which was very effective.
I find this place difficult to sum up. I have no doubt that for many people it would be ideal, but
for us it was a little too intimate. One has to be in close contact with other guests at meal times
and it seemed to us more like a rather expensive upmarket guest house, rather than a hotel.

We spent a very pleasant two nights in this hotel. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and central. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly.Breakfasts and dinners were first class and our smiling waitress made sure we had everything we needed.

I can't honestly say this is the best small hotel in Pitlochry not having sampled them all but if there is it would have to be exceptional. It would be enough to say that we have stayed here on a number of occasions now and fully intend to continue doing so. The standards are high and have always been maintained and mine hosts Helen and Peter can't do enough for you and are extremely pleasant with it. Peter obviously loves his cooking as it shows on the delicious meals which are served,my wife has just given me a nudge to say the Thai curry was the best she has tasted. Looking forward to our next visit, keep up the good work.

Room Tip: Room 4 has an excellent view to the hills above Pitlochry

Hotel was excellent. Great welcome from the owners and staff members. Immaculate hotel spotlessly clean. Great bedroom, 6 feet wide bed and very comfortable and excellent view from the bay window. Do not eat elsewhere when staying at this hotel as the food is superb with a daily change to the menu. Food tended to be on the rich side but not a problem for us.

Room Tip: e had the room at the front with a large bay window affording excellent views of the surrounding are...
