We will have many wonderful memories of this place, among them, the porridge with a drop of whisky, the lovely sunroom where breakfast is served, the delightful hosts - Struan and Louise, our very comfortable room with a view of the front garden. But the sound of all the song birds and the red squirrels that the garden supports - unforgettable.

This was by far the best B & B we stayed in during our 10 days driving through Scotland. Louise was so friendly and accomodating and the room was amazing ! Large, spotlessly clean, great water pressure, tastefully decorated. Easy walking distance into centre of town. We even had the pleasure of spotting a squirrel running up one of the old trees in the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was superb and the breakfast room itself ejoys such a lovely aspect. We have recommended to family who are travelling in August. If looking for somewhere to dine, you must book into the Golf Club, a short walk up the hill - you will not be disappointed and excellent value for money.

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong here.

We spent last weekend (7th-9th June) at the Torrdarach. It was out second stay there, two years in a row for our anniversary and it just gets better and better. The house is incredible, the rooms are to die for, the views are spectacular, the breakfast is great and Louise and Struan are quite possibly the best hosts ever. I've been in a few 4* star hotels that would do well to have a visit to the Torrdarach to see how guest care should be done.
We stayed in the Bothy both times and I doubt there are many rooms in Scotland that offer your own private patio. Find an excuse and get yourself to the Torrdarach for weekend. You won't regret it

We stayed here for two nights, at the end of May 2013 and had a wonderfull stay.
A great location with walking distance to the shops of Pitlochry. Also a short walk towards the supermarket.
The hosts are very nice, the rooms were spotless. We had room number 1 and it is
I THINK, the nicest ;-)
We were just sad that we stayed only 2 nights.
The breakfast is very good, and what a view you have when you take your breakfast.
By far the nicest place to stay in Pitlochry !!!

How many places in the UK will you find with such excellent reviews? Not many I suspect but Torrdarach House deserves such an accolade. This was our second visit. We were on our way from Wales to the Orkney islands and Pitlochry is a good stopping off point for a couple of nights as there is a lot to do in this area alone as we discovered during our visit last year.
As said by other reviewers Struan and Louise are always welcoming and Struan is a dab hand at cooking breakfast! We will be staying there again on our way back from the Northern Isles.

Room Tip: Room 6 is nice overlooking the garden and on the ground floor too if you are not to good on your fee...

Torrdarach house is without a doubt the best B and B we have ever stayed at. This is a fabulous house with a beautifully garden. Struan and Louise are extremely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the local area. Take their advice with regards to eating out,the golf club is just up the hill, and serves great affordable food,Struan will even book a table on your behalf. The house itself is beautifully decorated throughout, and beds are really comfy. Breakfast is faultless and we especially recommend the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. We originally booked one night, but had to return for another night on our way back from the highlands. We hope to return next year, thanks again To Struan and Louise. From Lee and Amanda Gripton
Ps they have a great selection of books magazines and dvd's,no charges or deposits.

Room Tip: We stayed in rooms four and two.room two is bigger and slightly more expensive, but has a great view...
