The room was beautiful, clean and spacious and the proprietor was very helpful but the breakfast let our stay down. Fresh fruit was ok but the kiwi was rock hard so not edible, if you didnt precisely ask for two eggs or two rashers of bacon you only got one, the coffee was stone cold and if you didn't ask for toast you didn't get offered any. The location of the B and B is great though the car park was quite tight. Very helpful and friendly but the breakfast was not on par with the rooms so let our stay down.

Room Tip: Ask for exactly what you want and be prepared to wait.

The Craigroyston House is in a quiet neighborhood and is just a brief walk to the center of town. Our room was neat, clean and had a view. It was comfortable and cozy. We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed for two. The town is more interesting that we expected. The proprietor was very pleasant and accommodating and had a twinkle in his eye. It was a very pleasant stay. It was a good Rick Steves recommendation.

Just back from 2 lovely nights in Pitlochry. This was a family trip to visit the theatre and was brilliant that 10 of us managed to stay under the one roof !
The B&B was super- really clean and well equipped . Our room had a lovely comfortable bed and a generously sized en suite. The location is ideal since its only a short walk into town.
I would definitely return to this B&B and am already checking dates !

Room Tip: Room 5 was lovely but room 4 has a great view and wonderful 4 poster bed !

We found this B&B to be a delightful surprise! We booked two rooms - one for my husband and me and one for our children (young adults). Our room was nicely decorated and had a canopy bed! It was comfy and cozy. The other room was large with a double and single bed and had a beautiful view of the garden and into town. We would recommend this lovely gem to anyone looking for a cozy, quiet place to stay!

This is one the best places we have ever stayed. Wonderful people in a great location in a great small town. Our room was perfect, the breakfast (with a beautiful view) was great and it was all within a very brief walk of everything in town. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area. Quiet, beautiful and a terrific, I guess my wife would say "charming".

Room Tip: Try for a room with a view of the mountains.

This was the best B&B on our two week trip in Scotland. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and also had a canopy. The location was excellent and a path and stairs led down to the city center.

My husband and were on our way to the Isle of Skye when we got to Pitlochry. We decided on the spur of the moment to spend the night in Pitlochry and continue to Skye the next day. We went to the Scottish Tourist office in Pitlochry, and the lady there helped us find a room at Craigroyston House. Greta, the host, was very gracious and accommodating. We wanted to get on the road before breakfast was served the next day, so she put a continental breakfast in our room while we went out walking. Our room was nicely decorated, very clean, and very modern. Greta also recommended a lovely restaurant (The Fern Garden) for dinner, and we had a nice meal there. We had a restful night at Craigroyston house so we were able to finish our drive to Skye in fine form.
