“Lovely warm and welcoing cottage”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Just a few steps from the Moulin Inn this cottage is warm, welcoming and comfotable. Close to Pilochery and many othe tourist attractions it is also ideal for golf, walking and visiting the local distilleries, brewery, heather jems manufacturer and the famous House of Bruar. The cottage has been renovated to be as near its orignal look as possible but wth the benefit of central heating and a modern bathroom wtha fantastic overbath shower. Enjoyed our stay so much we ae returning in June for more rest and relaxation

“Lovely cottage in a perfect location”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 for a stay in October 2013

This lovely cottage is in a perfect location for touring the area surrounding Pitlochry and for visiting Pitlochry itself. It is also only a few yards from the front door of the Moulin Inn where you can enjoy some lovely food and sample the beer from their very own micro brewery. The cottage is in the lovely setting of Moulin and Is very cosy and comfortable with everything you need. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back.

Comfy well-appointed cottage with everything you need close at hand. A good base from which to explore The Cairngorms and surrounding areas. The Moulin Inn is close by with good food and its own Microbrewery. A great place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries definitely on our Top Ten list.

“Perfect wee cottage in a perfect location”
Reviewed 30 April 2014 for a stay in March 2014

This cottage is just lovely, everything there for a day or a weekend or a week in the highlands, close to the hills, the pub and Pitlochry. The open fire helps to make it a lovely cosy place whatever the weather.

“Instant Chill”

The cottage looks like it has been very recently refurbished and it is fabulous. With the gas central heating and the real log fire we had the best of both worlds new and old.

Pitlochry is just a short walk and the Moulin Hotel is just a stones throw away so good watering and dinning venues are really handy.

Can't wait to go and stay again

“Stunning, friendly, accessible”

Although a short stay this time, we have been several times previously and will return as frequently as our budget allows. The cottage is finished to a high standard whilst retaining typical cottage features e.g. the open warm welcome of the log fire. The bedrooms are very spacious and my five year old daughter loved exploring the different rooms in the house. The kitchen has everything you could possible need - a 'real home from home'. However with a lovely welcoming pub (next door but one) it is tempting to eat out most nights!
In the surrounding local area there is plenty to do e.g. golf, various walks, the main village only a 10 minute walk (unless you have a 5 year old) and plenty of other local attractions within a short car journey.
The local village also caters for any home comforts you may need like the forgotten toiletries etc., or ice cream parlour as well as an array of shops including a Co-Op and an exceedingly good butcher for hearty breakfast supplies!
We visit this cottage to 'chill out' and because my daughter just loves it there! You just have to try it for yourself!!
