This is our second stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast. From the moment the door opens to the moment you leave you are made to feel so welcome. We had a room on the ground floor, lovely, everything you could need and more, ice cold water, fruit, tea and coffee tray, homemade shortbread, delicious. The guest lounge is lovely, wood burning stove, magazines, books, games, you just help yourself, and a wee sherry if you fancy it. Breakfast is amazing, the best we have had in any place we have stayed. From the poached fruits, to the basket of mixed bread including homemade fruit loaf, it is lovely, your cooked breakfast is made to order, again lovely, fresh and tasty. If you are thinking of going here, please do, you will have a lovely relaxing time. Thank you Heather and Martin for a lovely time, hope we see you again soon.

Enjoyed a three night break and could not have anticipated the warmth and care given by Heather and Martin.
The service and quality was excellent, the breakfast menu catered for all tastes and could not have been better or more fillng.
Dalshian House and the setting, even in attrocious weather, offered warmth and comfort....spacious room and an evening in front of a roaring fire in the lounge so relaxing.
A return visit to look forward to.......the home baking delicious.

Stayed here for one night at end of January.

On arriving we were met by Heather who was friendly and had lots of useful info and recommendations for local restaurants. She gave us a little tour of the lounge and showed us where breakfast would be served.
The lounge is beautiful with a real fire which added to the comfy homely feel.
Our room on the 1st floor was just lovely. Clean, warm and comfy. It had tea and coffee and shortbread and some fruit. All these little touches added to what was a great stay.
Breakfast the next morning was superb. Set in the dining area which also had warm burning real fire. The tables were set beautifully. With linen napkins and silver accessories. A selection of jam, marmalade, and honey were also laid out on each table. Breakfast itself consisted of a buffet selection of cereals and fruit which was then followed by your choice of cooked breakfast. This was delicious and all cooked to order so was extremely fresh and tasty.
I would highly recommend Dalshian House to anyone looking for a warm, cosy and very friendly B & B in the Pitlochry area.

We booked an overnight stay at Dalshian House a week or so ago with my daughter and her boyfriend, and what a charming place. We were met by Martin who showed us to our rooms, both of which were well appointed and the beds extremely comfy. What sets an average hotel/guest house apart is definitely the attention to detail and the extra 'touches'. Crisp white cotton sheets, homemade shortbread, fruit and an assortment of twinings tea as well as a variety of books and magazines set this little guesthouse apart! The breakfast is the piece de resistance though.. fresh, good quality produce, cooked to perfection on hot plates! Thank you Heather and Martin for a super overnight stay and your warm hospitality.

I stayed here overnight whilst travelling North with a friend in July. I had taken a tumble earlier in the day and consequently had a black eye and swollen face. Upon arrival Martin immediately produced an ice pack and the welcome was otherwise warm and sympathetic. The House was lovely and the room comfortable and impeccable. I would happily recommend Dalshien House to others and would love to stay here again when next in Pitlochry.

My husband and I went last feb for an overnite stay, very warm welcome from Martin and Heather . We were recommended to go for a meal in the neighbouring hotel, fantastic food, on our return we enjoyed a few sherries in front of the roaring fire in the living room, heaven. Next morning we enjoyed the best breakfast weve ever had, poached eggs and bacon on toast, whisky porridge, salmon and scrambled eggs, there was homemade muffins, jams, local heather honey...yum! After breakfast we took a walk around the grounds enjoying the snow falling around us, it felt magical! We cant wait to return in feb again.
