We found this hotel, which is two minutes walk away from the terminal building at Glasgow a friendly, well priced place to stay before a take off. Our room was clean, with good fluffy towels, an efficient shower comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The free wifi worked well and the breakfast and food selection in the evening was basic but fine. Staff were helpful too.

We use this hotel as it is convenient for us when we have an early flight. It is only a short walk to the airport and we get a good rate for car parking. The bar and eating area are comfortable and the food is quite good. The staff are helpful. However, the beds in room 109 are not at all comfortable and as a result we only managed a few hours sleep. Not a good start to the day!!! Why do hotels choose to have such hard beds these days? I'm sure we are not the only guests who have the same opinion.

We may have to reconsider where to stay the next time we come to Glasgow airport.

Room Tip: Ask for a comfortable bed.

Dear Pamela H,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. It's great to hear you found the staff to be helpful during your visit and enjoyed the food and comfort of the guest areas. We are disappointed to hear you found the beds uncomfortable. We understand this is a personal preference and cannot satisfy every guests needs when it comes to the type of matress however our matresses do get flipped regularly and we will be looking into this further with our head housekeeper to ensure these specific mattresses are not faulty. We hope this does not deter you from staying with us again.

Yours Sincerely,
Lauren

This is the perfect choice for dropping off a rental car and flying out early in the morning. Our rental car company was right next door. It was SO easy to drop off the car, check into the hotel, eat dinner right there, and then walk 2 minutes to the airport terminal. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the food in the restaurant was quite good. The room was fine, with nice bedding. The shower was okay, not great water pressure but the towels were large and thick. Wifi worked well in the large lobby area, but despite the many signs throughout the hotel that wifi was free and available in the rooms,we did not have any success with it in our room. This hotel is an excellent value. Certainly not luxurious, but a basic clean place to stay for one night.

Perfect for very late arrival and early departure. Friendly & helpful staff that was accomodating with questions, late check out, and various requests. Closest hotel to departure terminals and car rental lot. Easy to catch the bus service that services the terminals. Ground floor seating/lounge areas are spacious and comfortable.

Have arrived at the holiday inn express Glasgow Airport for our flight tomorrow morning and couldn't be happier with the hotel, it's location, value and food quality. We arrived and were promptly checked in, up to our room which I booked a standard for 2 adults and a 3 year old. We have a doubled bed and a sofa bed, shower and toilet room. Room has a tv and coffee/tea making facilities. only thing we have found lacking is the very slow wifi.. We had dinner in the restaurant we had a starter, 2 adult mains, 1 kids meal which comes with ice cream dessert, 1 beer and 2 Pepsi for £47! Bargain..
Bed is comfy and hotel is modern and clean. if the breakfast is as good as dinner I'll be happy. what more could you need for a great value stop over. 1 night stay with 15 days parking with free breakfast £117! definitely book here again

Arrived 8 at night to a freezing cold room, there was a heater in room but took about 2 hours to heat,we had to sit with our coats on,was warmer in corridor. We have stayed at this hotel many times before an early flight but the room this time was very dated, think some of the rooms have been refurbished because we have had a nicer room, although the shower was very good.

Dear Guest,

We're sorry to hear that the temperature in your was not as comfortable as you would have hoped for. The heating system is capable of heating or cooling the room to the desired temperature within a reasonable period of time. I can only assume from your comments that there was a fault with the unit in your room which our front desk team would have been happy to investigate and provide a resolution.
During our last bedroom refurbishment all of our rooms were refurbished to the same standard and our planned and preventative maintenance system ensures that all rooms remain to the same standard, we're therefore disappointed that you were not happy with your room.
Our company is planning another bedroom refurbishment in the near future and we hope to have an update on this later in the year.
Yours sincerely

Craig

Some of the reasons why I like this kind of hotel are the very ones some other folk use to justify their dislike. Well, that just proves that tastes differ. When it comes to the night before a morning flight, it's good that you know exactly what you'll get for your money: a basic but clean & functional room, a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom with a decent shower, a breakfast buffet with the usual items to get you going in the morning. This hotel ticks all these boxes, with the bonus of being very close to the car rentals and the terminal building. We found it all very pleasing and reasonably priced. We would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: I was on the airport side of the building & my friends were on the motorway side. No complaints...
