“Great for the price”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

I stayed here in the middle of June as I was attending a wedding nearby. New hotel, nice and bright and clean. Only complaint being the length of time it took for the rooms to be ready, there was a huge queue to check in because only one person was working on this desk. This in turn led to a bit of a strop from an older couple waiting quite some time to be served at the bar – by the same person – before they gave up. I paid £29.99 for the room, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, there was free parking, and that’s what I call a bargain.

We couldn't fault this Premier Inn - it has everything in house
Staff very friendly and efficient
It was suitably placed for travel by air from Prestwick Airport or by ferry fro Troon to Larne in Northern Ireland

I booked 3 rooms (for me and my wife, 2 daughters and our son) for 2 nights in this hotel as we were attending a family wedding at a hotel in Alloway. This is by far the best value I've received from any hotel. The food was excellent, the rooms clean and extremely comfortable, the staff friendly and efficient and the prices severely competitive. If ever near Ayr again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Stayed here while visiting family. Clean, friendly and a surprisingly good restaurant with brilliantly friendly staff. We booked a family room and had a bargin price of 29 quid per night so can't complain. Would definitely stay again! Gripes....none really however it is no where near the race course if you know Ayr at all. It is in the middle of a car sales industrial estate but with easy access to town in a car. Not a problem though it was very quiet in the room. No cooling system in room though you can heat it up. Internet free for 30 mins a day but is quite slow. Other than that it was a brilliant little hotel well worth the price paid although would pay full price if had to.

The latest addition to Ayr's range of hotels, this is a great place to stay
Right on the main A77, which gives excellent access to Glasgow and beyond and the rest of Ayrshire, you're minutes from Ayr towncentre.
With a Frankie & Bennies almost nextdoor, the Premier Inn's own restaurant is a good alternative, serving a wide variety of quality food and a very good selection of drinks, at a very reasonable price.
And the rooms, well of course, all are of the usual high Premier Inn quality :-)

Room Tip: What ever room you have, they are all of equal quality :-)

Couldn't fault this Premier Inn from check in to check out. Loved the new bathrooms...No Bath but instead a walk in shower and seperate wc .Very close to busy main roads but never heard any traffic sounds even with window open. The restaurant served good, tasty, pub grub.

we wasnt expecting much for 29 pounds but we was surprised the staff were very helpful and friendly and plenty of parking - the room was clean and bed was comfy, we ate in the restaurant and the staff were friendly and again helpful and the meal was nice too - drinks a little expensive but made our holiday
