“Going to Ayr stay here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

This is a great little guest house with a very warm welcome from resident owner Bill
who serves a up a very good breakfast to your own tastes and will be on hand with useful
tips for going out and about around Ayrshire I would certainly return if I was in the area
the room we had was very clean and tidy and comfortable.
Well worth what we paid great value for money

I was attending a wedding at the Western House Hotel. This guest house is a 3 min walk away and much better value than the hotel for an overnight stay. The owner, Bill, could not have been more welcoming. There is only street parking available but there is ample parking at the hotel so we kept the car there overnight. Our double room was at the rear, overlooking the racecourse. We were the only guests for the night we were there so there was absolutely no noise, and the bed was really comfy so we both slept very well. I could not get the tv to work but Im sure that was just my technical skills at fault. The room was clean and the bathroom was modern and spotless. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, in fact so nice that if Im honest I could have eaten a little more had it been available! I would recommend this guest house and would stay here again.

First class guest house highly recommend. Bedroom warm bright and clean. Breakfast could not be faulted. Proprietor Bill very welcoming and friendly. Nice close proximity to the Western House hotel for weddings and the race course for the racing. Stayed for one night for wedding access to bedroom nice and early to get changed Great B&B.

Folks, what a pleasant oasis in the golf wasteland of West Scotland
The owner, Bill is super accommodating - and oh so knowledgeable of where to go, play and eat!
You can't go wrong here!
Great rooms, breakfast and dead easy to find

We stayed here for a night after a recent wedding - booked the triple room, the double (honeymoon) and a single for our family.
Not only great value but our host Bill was happy for us to check in a little bit early and was a happy smiling face in the morning of a beautiful breakfast.
All in all - a great value B&B for anyone spending some time in Ayr.

I stayed at the guest house on Saturday February 23rd 2013 with my wife as we was attending a wedding in Western House hotel ,the guest house is around 3 minutes walk to the hotel.
On our arrival we were met by our wonderful host Bill, who showed us to our room(we were provided the family room) the room was very spacious and immaculately clean, the room had no en suite facilities however we had our own bathroom about 2 steps across the landing. The bathroom was spotless and the shower so inviting and fantastic (you could stay in it all day).
The breakfast was fantastic, a choice if cereals Orange juice tea and coffee and, Bill's fantastic cooked breakfast.
To sum up, lovely place lovely food, spotlessly clean and the icing on the cake was Bill the host, the world would be a better place if everyone adopted his attitude, lovely man great conversation.
I for sure will be back, look forward to seeing you again Bill, keep up the good work.
***** well worth a visit.
