Just back from a night staying at this lovely b&b can't say enough good things about the service received. Will definitely be back and will be recommending it to all my friends if they are looking for a night away somewhere. :) fab!

Just had a wee overnight in Ayr and stayed at Beaches. Its a cracking B n B and well deserved of a 5 rating. Absolutely everything about it is excellent from the welcome and service from Jan - nothing is a bother to her - to all the wee touches that make this place special, homemade shortbread in your room, homemade jam at breakfast (which by the way is amazing!!), the place is spotless, bathroom was sparkling, with everything you could possibly want, big comfy bed, decor very tasteful. It feels like a boutique hotel and I would not hesitate to return or recommend.

There were 6 of us stayed for 2 nights for the horseracing at Ayr. We were met by Calum who's homemade shortbread is to die for. He was warm friendly and welcoming offering us hints and tips on the bet places in Ayr. The rooms were fabulous, spotlessly clean and well appointed everything we needed. What can I say about Jan, the breakfast she cooks to order, set us up for the day and the banter comes for free. We had a fantastic time and both Calum and Jan could not have been more welcoming and friendly. We are already organising for next year and will be heading straight back to the Beaches to stay. Fabulous value for money

Room Tip: All the rooms are well appointed with one larger room for families. Jan is also hoping to open up t...

A lovely B&B near the sea and not far from the town in Ayr. The bed was so comfortable plus breakfast was superb. There was a good atmosphere about this place, everything was spotlessly clean and the decor bright and pleasing. Nothing was too much trouble for Jan and Calum also Jan's homemade shortbread and jams were wonderful!!!

I can't say enough about Jan and Callum and their wonderful guest house, Beaches. Fresh from the oven shortbread greeted us and as soon as we walked in, Jan treated us like old friends! She gave us the dish on the best places to grab dinner and pint and made sure we had everything we could need for a great nights rest. Breakfast in the morning was made to order and just wonderful. The little touches made it feel like home. Wonderful!! Not mentioning that Callum took the time to fix my suitcase. Way above and beyond!!

Jan is just the personification of the perfect host. Beautiful rooms, spotless, modern and cosy.
Breakfast was spectacular, featuring the very best of local produce freshly made to order..
Beaches is more like a boutique hotel than a B&B . Ayr beach is on your doorstep and a wonderful to for a morning run.
Jan's great pride and attention to detail made my all to short stay at Beaches a wonderful and memorable experience! A fine example of Scottish hospitality!,
