Very nice, clean and beatiful place in lovely environment. Room was super. Friendly staff, good restaurant. Special thanks for Haggis, which was not on list.

One minus for the WiFi which works only near reception and not in room. Some extra routers would help.
One minus also from the seat in the lavatory. The system which is in use in whole Great Britain is not good at all. It is not nice to draw again and again middle of the night just to see there's still something floating on the bottom.

Very Good!

My family and I stayed here for one night and it was on the whole a fabulous venue for a wedding and some local sight seeing. . If you are a Burns fan. The rooms were comfortable and airy, the views of the memorial were very good and the staff were extremely polite and attentive.

The food was good the service was excellent and apart from having to haul bags, buggy and children up and down some step stairs it was a fantastic nights stay.

If you have children and the ensemble to carry them find the local premier inn otherwise this is the place to stay.

We stopped here mid-week to let my fiance soak up the Burns country I grew up in before we were married the following weekend. I had often visited this hotel's bar in my youth before moving to the south coast and knew it was an excellent location. It certainly didn't dissappoint. Our room looked out onto the Burns monument and gardens, whilst the interior of the room was just as well appointed. The hotel gardens are equally beautiful along a peaceful stretch of the river, within view of the "Auld Brig". Food and drink were excellent as where the staff who always greeted us pleasantly as if we were long lost friends or relatives. An excellent base from which to tour Burns Country.

Room Tip: There are only 5 rooms in this hotel and I expect they are all as good as the one we stayed in, so t...

Attended this venue as a wedding guest, did not stay due to lack of a room available.
Decor as expected for traditional scottish hotel, tartan galore. The banqueting room was superb loved the staircase.
Food and service were excellent.
Inclement weather prevented me from seeing the gardens though I heard they were beautiful.
Would like to return one day overnight to see rooms etc.
If you were planning a wedding I don't think you could pick a better venue anywhere.

We were invited as whole day guests to Brig O Doon house and a fantastic day was had by all.

The weekend was a spectacularly rare sunny day in Scotland which let us all take advantage of the absolutely wonderful gardens that Brig O Doon have. The staff were very attentive with champagne top ups and canape service even in the sweltering heat. All of Costley and Costley premises have wonderful gardens but the Brig O Doon gardens are larger and with the river running through its a truly breath taking experience and great back drop for photographs.

Dinner was a very well organised affair and the quality of the mass produced food was really very high indeed. The serving staff were fast and friendly and handled a few at our table who at the last minute decided they would prefer a vegetarian course etc...

The venue itself is large and spectacularly finished and the bar was fast though i noticed prices have risen a bit since the last wedding i was at here, though they are not prohibitive like other venues.

I cant recommend Brig O Doon enough having been a patron at weddings and withing the restaurant and smaller more casual sandwich shop.
