we had the wedding of our daughter Julia and Sean there. It was an amazing event, all prepared to the perfection. Food was amazing, decoration was fantastic. We stood over night in one of the cottages on the other side of the road. Very nice cottage with a beautiful garden as all gardens around are stunning.

Went with friends to have an evening meal. Wet, dark evening but once inside it was very cheerful. Old-fashioned charm about the hotel with lovely décor. The hotel setting is picture postcard and would be fantastic to sit outside on a better evening. We all had a two course meal, too full for dessert, which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Did not stay as guests in the hotel.

Right beside the Robbie Burns Museum is this beautiful inn/hotel. From the greeting at door the staff could not do enough Happy , courteous and efficient The room was extra large with all the amenities The total site is one fantastic garden not to be missed We also ate dinner and breakfast on site. The meals were excellent in taste, presentation, service and price. A complete package at a very reasonable price. Well done

A wedding and function taking place and the result was a poor lunch in the old bar.

Two salads which should be fairly easy to assemble were presented void of taste, advertised ingredients and dressing.

The poor guys who were working were run off their feet!

Don't let this report put you off, they normally get it right!

Popped in to Brig O'Doon on the hop. Came to a junction to turn right and spied this very pretty building to the left so decided to check it out. My Mum and I visited the coffee shop and enjoyed a very tasteful lunch, efficiently served by extremely lovely staff. Nothing too much trouble. The ambience and surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing, we didn't want to leave. Food was delicious and the scone and coffee to finish was top notch tasty! It was so good we returned the day after for more :) Beautiful setting!
