I sourced this hotel through late rooms website as I had to travel to Scotland on business on a rushed visit. I arrived with a work colleague about 6pm and we were quickly booked in by a pleasant chap and handed our room keys and a TV remote control unit! The room (No 10) was at the rear of the hotel which looked onto a brick wall and was a "rat run" for hotel kitchen staff so the curtains required closing all the time you are in the room to prevent you flashing the staff. The room was clean well equipped and featured a nice bright bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath I met my mate in the well stocked bar at 8pm and we had a very tasty meal in the hotel restaurant which was pricey compared to the room rate of £55. The hotel has 2 bars one at the rear with a sport theme and numerous private rooms for hire. Breakfast was served prompt in the bright, clean conservatory/restaurant which looks entirely different from the previous night when we had dinner. Overall the hotel for the money is good value compared with your boring travelodges and has a nice atmosphere and cheerful hard working staff and Ok for a quick stop over on business.
I am still a bit bemused with the TV remote sketch though which has to be returned to the reception on checking out!

We stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. We only had one small complaint and that was out bed which was a fold out of the wall type which was very low down and difficult to get in and out of,however we did sleep very well. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be back but not to room 12!

A well placed and comfortable Hotel in Hamilton . Reasonably priced with a good breakfast and ideal for business trips in the area. The Staff are all well trained and most helpful and I recommend you stay at this Hotel when you are in the area.

We stayed in two rooms over a weekend as we were visiting family.

One was small but quite bright as it overlooked the front. However it meant we heard noises as people came and went to a wedding below and also the children from the wedding were running riot on our landing. Grim faced parents were fairly unpleasant when asked to calm them down and hotel staff just ignored the issue.

My son was in a downstairs room, past the kitchen and toilets. It had a terrible view of a service area and was constantly noisy as staff changed beer barrels etc.

The hotel was clean but run down and has obviously seen better days with very basic, tawdry furnishings (worse than a student hall of residence I am told.

We had dinner and the restaurant was packed- we waited ages to be served by glum staff how had no interest. food was adequate. Breakfast was disappointing as the buffet was non existent and the cooked food low quality.

It fulfilled its purpose but with no sense of joy or reason to return.

Room Tip: As far from the wedding guests as possible

We stayed here for one night while meeting up with some family. It was a great find the hotel room was small but, lovely the bathroon was big had a great bath. The bed was very comfortable has a great night sleep. The breakfast was nice, it would have looked nicer if the buffet part of the breakfast was full. The food could have been a bit warmer. Overall a very good hotel would stay there again if we go back to Hamilton. The staff were good the lady that checked us in was lovely she gave directions to where we need to go.

Room Tip: we were in the pipers kichen room (101)

We stayed at hotel for one night, we were in one of the annex's. The room was compact but furnished well it was very clean and comfortable. Only problem was tea / coffee making facilities, they were under TV and there was nowhere to put them, apart from this the room was fine. Great bed had really good sleep.

Breakfast was good although not very hot. Staff could engage more with clients which would make it more welcoming. there is a lack of Disabled parking. However we would stay there again and would recommend it to others. Value for money definitely.

Room Tip: I feel all rooms are of high standard

My daughter and I were moved here when our room at the Holiday Inn failed to meet expectations. We arrived at 11pm and were met with a warm smile! Our twin room was clean, smelt fresh and had a window that opened wide! The bed linen was crisp and white and the room well appointed. Far quieter than the Holiday Inn with excellent parking it would seem to be a good choice for both the solo traveller and for families. Breakfast was good and service polite! At £20 a night cheaper than Holiday Inn I would suggest it is well worth considering.
