“Lovely Cottage within a lovely village.”
Reviewed 17 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

The cottage was cosy, welcoming and very modern. Recently refurbished. Easy access to local shops and pubs. Loads to do in the surrounding area. Nice views.

“Fantastic cottage and beautiful part of Scotland”
Reviewed 13 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We had 3 nights at this cottage - superb location for walks with our dog.
Cottage was very comfortable and clean - welcoming biscuits were gratefully received.
Hopefully we will be back in this part of the world soon.

Liked best: Living room
Liked least: Found it a little cool - underfloor heating is great but difficult to get the right temperature. The wood-burning stove took the edge off.

“Immaculate and inviting accommodation 😀”
Reviewed 2 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

After a long journey from Yorkshire, Hillcrest was a lovely weekend retreat for us all and the secure garden particularly enjoyed by mini dachshund Martha. Tastefully decorated, warm and very clean in the lovely village of Aberfoyle, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great food and a warm welcome in The Forth Inn, supermarket and cash machine not five minutes away and lots of places to explore nearby - a boat cruise on Loch Katrine, a beautiful autumnal display with a drive around Loch Lomond, Go Ape and Glasgow''s amazing shops and architecture. Thank you Charles!

“Cosy cottage - 3 night stay”
Reviewed 22 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Fantastic location. Fully kitted out, cosy, finished to high spec. Cellar and garden to store bikes, etc. Great views. Home away from home.
I always appreciate a rental that provides items like bin bags, dish washing items so you don't need to cart these for a few days. Also toilet paper and some tea/coffee and milk to get you settled in is so considerate. Thanks for the lovely shortbread too. We loved it and will be back.
Highly recommended.
Also recommend the Fairie Tree Grill house. Great food, friendly service, reasonably priced.

“Braw cottage in Aberfoyle ”
Reviewed 12 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Beautiful and tidy cottage in the heart of the town of Aberfoyle. Everything was immaculate and the dogs loved the inclosed garden which was great. It is that good we actually wanted to stay longer but was already booked.
