Great fun. Good basic training and we spent an peaceful hour in warm sunshine on the loch canoeing. Don't forget the midgie spray. I was happy to pay £18- thought it was good value. Basic training and life jackets given.

We arrived at go country fairly late in the day at 2pm. We hadnt booked anything but hoped to hire a couple of kayaks or a canoe to go for a wee paddle then find somewhere to camp for the night. The staff member there suggested that we could hire the canoe over night and camp anywhere on the loch. He was really great. Im always nervous going to places like this for fear that staff might be judgemental but he was brilliant and really helpful. We were worried that this would be really expensive but it was very reasonable. We had an absolutely brilliant time! I would recommend these guys for whatever your adventurous side draws you towards. We have every intention of using them again.

Took my son here for a wee adventure for the two of us. After some canoe tuition, we set out across the loch to find our spot for the night and to practice in the canoes. What a stunning place - water was like a mirror it was so calm and no noise!
We then returned to base after exploring the islands and loch, picking up our camping gear (tent, sleeping bags etc) - all provided in a rucksack for our convenience.
The place we chose to pitch our tent was shared by a bunch of highland cows, which was really exciting for my son as they just stare at you and they are huge!
We set our fire, had a go on the rope-swing that was nearby and cooked our dinner over the open fire - we had the place to ourselves. Fantastic.
The cows woke us up about 6am, making their way to the loch for a drink, but we didn't mind as seeing 4 highland cattle up so close was worth it.
Cooked our breakfast and headed off for another canoe around the loch in morning. Canoe was returned for 11am (as agreed) and visit was over.
Had a wee stop in Aberfoyle for a look around on the way home, which was picturesque, but not really my Son's cup of tea.
An enjoyable adventure for a reasonable price - we used a dealmonster voucher (we weren't the only ones).

Loads of different activities and reasonably priced. Book early as some activities get booked up (quads, shooting and gorge walking) though you should be able to get canoe hire and mountain bike hire fairly easily
