“Nice enough bar meals”
Reviewed 16 December 2013

While staying nearby we went for dinner here. The menu was typical of bar food menus and the food was fine. We were still wearing walking gear and didn't feel out of place and the bar staff were friendly and polite. The place was quite busy with people of all ages which is a good sign and adds to the atmosphere.

“What a fabulous pub”
Reviewed 8 December 2013

During August myself and a group of friends went on a short break to Scotland to see the Tattoo, We were stopping at the Rob Roy Hotel, On the first night we booked a couple of mini busses to take us into Aberfoyle,( there were 12 of us) We had a fantastic night, the staff were so welcoming. After having a full day out sight seeing the following day we all decided to go to the Coach house again, We all had a meal some has Haggis, some had steak, others had pie or scampi, every one said how lovely their meals were, all good quality food! some of us came away earlier than others, we had taxis back to our hotel, there were a couple of the group left at the end of the night, they struggled to get a taxi to pick them up to take them back to our hotel,
kindly one of the staff offered to take them back to our hotel, What a fabulous place, fantastic staff, amazing food what more could you ask for, we are all going to the tattoo again in August and will be going back to the coach house for some more of their fab Scottish hospitality!!!! WELL WORTH A VISIT...

“14 out of 10”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

Visited the Coach house again today welcomed by attentive staff ( new girl) "can i get you a drink" very pleasant young lady allowed time to look at menu , took order, brought starters within a few minutes and the meal arrived when had finished the starter. Main meal was well presented cooked to perfection and piping hot.
My math may not be my strong point but I know what good food and good service is so i have no hesitation in awarding 14 out of 10 to this most hospitable inn

“Coach House”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

A bit wary having read other reviews but it was recommended by our B&B hosts. Food was prompt, well cooked and tasty. Menu was limited but what you would expect in a pub.
