Interesting visit. Interior still somewhat intact and you can explore inside as you wish. Nice location and easy to get to from car park.

This is well worth a little side trip. A bit of Insight into how early lords (perhaps) lived. Architecturally and anthropologically interesting.

Well sign posted and easy to get to. Bit of a climb up,the good path to the Broch also has toilets at the bottom. You can go right round it and inside. Great details left of this historic building.

The broch has a very nice welcome center that you pass on the way up. It tells the story about what the broch was used for and is a nice introduction to actually viewing it. You can also buy yarn and other local crafts at the welcome center. Walking up to the broch, I passed lots of sheep grazing. They don't pay a lot of attention to humans but will run away if you get close. The broch is large and is high up, so you can climb on the wall and get a nice view. It was interesting to see what people built years ago and how they lived. Although you can see much of the broch from the road, the visit was worthwhile, especially because the welcome center explained what I was viewing.

Easy to find. Looks great from the outer approach to it, but is even better when you get right up to it and find that you can actually go inside it and climb up. The views are spectacular. Makes you realise just how good our ancestors were at building. The visitor centre is also very informative. It would be a shame not to visit it if you are in the Outer Hebrides - you would be missing out on a very interesting and fantastic piece of history.
