At the bottom of the climb up Ben More from Loch Na Keal is a sign in the form of an arrow, which simply says "UP".
It's not kidding.
The climb is steep, although not horribly so for for the most part, but it's *long* and there's a fair bit of loose rock underfoot for much of it, so care is needed. If, like me, you're not terribly fit, it may be rather daunting and a bit of a struggle. But if you're physically capable of doing it and have decent boots, it's well worth the effort.
The views from the top are spectacular (when it's clear) and the sense of achievement is immense.
Be aware though that the descent, while in some ways easier than the climb, has its own hazards and can take almost as long to accomplish, so leave plenty of time for the round trip.
