“A great getaway location!”
Reviewed 12 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had a great time staying at Epona Cottage, it was a stunning location with amazing views. Janet and Ian were very welcoming, helpful and relaxed hosts and we felt at home straight away! The kids loved it!! We definitely want to return soon!

“Breathe of freshness air blows your cobwebs away!”
Reviewed 4 January 2017 for a stay in August 2015

One of my dogs played with the owner's dog in the garden while watching the sea and the freshness wind blew on my ruddy face. Better without having make-up on. Walked up the road to dead end then carried on walking along the track and watching the ship sailed along to and fro. The sky was shunning and quite awesome to watch the colourful display that shoned on the Loch Snizort.
Worth to visit Waternish village for some grubs.

“Autumn Sunshine on Skye.”
Reviewed 15 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Epona Cottage is a very well appointed Holiday Cottage with everything you'll need for your stay. I has an extensive library with books for all tastes. The open fire in the Lounge is a fantastic place to sit and relax at the end of a day exploring the island.

The Cottage is located in the Crofting Village of Geary just beyond Waternish, This gives it a very remote feeling without being to far away from the many roads and routes that connect the main settlements of Skye, The excellent Stein Inn is only a couple of miles away and Dunvegan is only a few more.

The Cottage has a comfortable Living room with open Fire and a TV if you feel the need (we never had hit on) The Dining room is large with a table that would easily sit 6. The Kitchen has all you need and even the dishwasher tablets were included in the rental. The Bedrooms are a good size with some wonderful views across the Loch towards Uig.

The Cottage is pet friendly with lots of open moorland to walk dogs (Just check for sheep and Goats before letting them off the lead).

We will be back in the future.

“MOST WONDERFUL PLACE!!”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Truly wonderful stay, like the other reviewers we can't praise this lovely cottage more!! the cottage is exactly what we imaged and more. a great jazz collection of CD's and a book library to be the envy of anything i've ever seen. We had the lovely addition of some spring time lambs which were so cute!! almost don't want anyone else to know about this place as we want to come back here ourselves. perfect for a group of friends or family.

“Okay”
Reviewed 23 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Arrived at the cottage and was greeted by the owner. Both owners are very nice and helpful. The cottage itself was okay. Kitchen was clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean. Bed rooms warm and comfortable. I did feel it was a bit tired and in need of decorating. Loads of thank you cards which I felt was a bit too personal but all in all a good stay.

“Pure escapism!”
Reviewed 9 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

If you want to escape the rat race this is the place, fabulous location, friendly owners and dog friendly! Warm and cosy for chilly evenings and only four miles from the best pub on Skye (probably!). Had a great time and don't believe people who say I it always rains up here, we had a week full of October sunshine!
