Excellent location to access hikes in the north and west. Quiet, in the countryside and wake up with mountain views. Compeletely self contained apt.
Jeannie is very helpful for anything you might require including the most scenic and not crowded hiking paths. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.
Location was great just 5 mins from Uig. Cottage had everything you could possibly need. A lot of thought has been given to ensure maximum comfort.
Half of Three is an exceptional little holiday let that is ideal for couples, set in a beautiful, quiet location. Everything was present when we arrived for our week's stay, with plenty of thoughtful touches, such as a well stocked bookshelf, and a TV for when the weather isn't so good and a pair of binoculars for when it is.
The owner, Jeannie was friendly and helpful and she obviously takes great pride in the property.
We will definitely be recommending Half of Three to our friends, and hope to return in the future.
The apartment is situated in a beautiful and quiet glen, where we felt at home immediately and enjoyed every single hour of our stay. You have such a wonderful view from the windows in all directions! Jeannie is a very friendly host, we were allowed to use here washing machine and she provides a lot of useful information what to do on Skye including detailed hiking tours. We enjoyed the quietness (there are only a few houses in the surrounding and a lot of sheep), but nevertheless it is only a short drive to Portree, where you can buy everything you need. It is also a good place to explore the Trotternish Peninsula and the rest of Skye. If only we knew before how much we liked this place, we would have stayed longer definitely! But there is still the possibility to come back a second time.
I had a wonderfull stay, whit a very nice owner, Jeannie.
It's a real nice place to stay.
I will come back here!
We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay, while on Skye, than Half of Three. It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. The central location made it a great base from which to explore the whole island, and it felt tucked away and secluded. One of our favourite things about the house was the powerful shower - it was fab! We loved all the little special touches that Jeannie had added, like the freshly cut daffodils on the kitchen table and the Isle of Skye soap in the bathroom. We were blown away by the beauty of Skye and loved every second we spent exploring it. Our trip was made all the sweeter by having this lovely house to return to at the end of each day.
