Waited a year to go on this tour and it was worth the wait.
A bit difficult to find arriving by car as no signposting and the map given is misleading as it takes you into a new building housing estate. But finally getting there a warm welcome from the gatekeeper, good instructions where to park and go to and a warm friendly welcome at the meeting point which was the BBC canteen
The tour is about 2 hours, all on foot and with some stairs though you can wait for your party to can back down if you don't do stairs.
The studio set is fascinating both outside and in the film studio set itself even if you are not a regular viewer.
And our tour guide Karen was absolutely superb.
There are toilets at beginning and end of tour and only a water machine and sweets & soft drink vending machine, nothing else.
To get on the tour is very difficult. Best to register on BBC tours website to get advance warning.
