Lovely place!! Very bright and summery looking! Staff are always nice! Food is very good and they always have a good soup on other than the usual lentil!! Well presented and a good cake selection!

Thank Rachel M

Had lunch here today. It's a small place (maybe 24 covers) right by the entrance to the Palace and a local car park but there were no tourists around and it was being used by locals many of whom seemed to know each other! The menu is typical lunch fare - soup, sandwiches, paninis, baked potatoes and salads but varied choice of fillings. My OH had egg mayo sandwiches which were filled generously and I had home made lentil soup. There was too much seasoning for my taste and the shop-bought bread was a bit disappointing. However we were served promptly, the staff were very polite and the prices were reasonable. .

This is a wonderful wee place for a lunch if you are visiting Linlithgow. Freshly made food using local produce where possible. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Check the specials board for something different. The cakes are so good it's hard to resist them. If meringues are available they are a MUST!

Nice cakes and good service. Worth a visit. One of the better Linlithgow cafes, of which there are very many.

I ate here with my husband after finding a stones throw away from Linlithgow Palace and I'm very glad we tried it.

There is generally a strawberry themed decor - even knitted strawberry tea cosies! It is a rather lovely little place with a friendly atmosphere.

The service was good and the food even better. We both had soup and sandwich and it was excellent. Soup was homemade and sandwich filling was plentiful.

Would definitely go back if we ever find ourselves down that way again.
