“Historic and Next to Palace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

The church is right next to Linlithgow Palace, so why not go in; it's free. And it is a beautiful and historic church. The volunteers showed us where Oliver Cromwell's troops fired their muskets and sharpened their swords.
The palace was one of my favourites and the church was a welcome addition to the visit.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

Had to visit the church my parents were married in 65 years ago. I was fortunate to attend the 11:00 service for two Sundays and I was welcomed both times. The organ is a beautiful instrument and the organist knows how to play it. Absolutely amazing. Had to buy the CD and I enjoy listening to it while driving. Love Linlithgow, love St. Michael's Parish Church.

Beautiful church. Members are quite welcoming and knowledgeable about the church's history. Loved the organ concert after church on Sunday.

“West Lothian history and culture at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

A visit to St. Michael's is well worth the time if you want to immerse yourself in the history and culture of West Lothian. The Church can tell you the story of the County, the Cromwell invasion and the stained glass in the church is worth the visit on its own.
