“Dedicated staff”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Lovely people at this restaurant, where we stopped for a meal before heading back to England from Edinburgh Airport. Good value for food that's not gourmet but tasty and generously-portioned for my hungry teenagers. We sat in the sun and watched the folk of Linlithgow prepare for a Friday night out. Very enjoyable. Mainly I'd compliment the staff who were so friendly.

“Under new management - well worth visiting”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

Having watched the upgrade from the street we decided to pop in for supper on a Monday night. We arrived at 7.55pm and just made last orders, such a pity they stop serving so early during the summer months, Many continental visitors to the town are just going out to dine at 8pm and I am sure they would love the atmosphere, the delightful antique wooden bar and the delicious food on offer. Good choice of food, beautifully presented, great service, warm and friendly but not imposing and a very reasonably priced menu - well worth a visit

We will definitely go back

“Thoroughly enjoyable first visit!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

My friend and I ate here one Tuesday evening recently out of curiosity and the fact that we're a bit bored and fed up with the other diners in town. I ordered the chilli con carne with rice and my friend had the tomato soup - both were served shortly after ordering, pipping hot and fresh. My chili could have done with some garnish other than tortilla chips and sour cream and it was more of a buffet size than a full size plateful, however at £6.95 its good value. The waiters couldn't have been more obliging and attentive and it made for a very positive first impression. The pub before the refurb wasn't worth visiting, however I would thoroughly recommend trying this place as an alternative to the other places in town and Im confident you will be pleasantly surprised. The gantry was well stocked so would be great for cocktails too. Will be returning soon.

“Great staff!!”
Reviewed 26 May 2014 via mobile

My friends and I came here for a quick drink but ended up staying for hours. The lads were all eating and thoroughly enjoyed there food especially the haggis burger. The staff were extremely helpful and even changed the channel to put the football on for the boys.
