Description: Wonderful atmosphere for a sing-along, and one can enjoy listening to many famous musicians nightly during the Summer. Come and enjoy a 'session' with many of Clare's well known musicians. The pub gets its name from a famous tailor who resided in the area, made famous by the song "Spancill Hill" which has the June Fair held in the locality each year.

We selected Cruises because of its traditional menu and the fact we could get Steak and Guinness Pie, which was excellent. Its a large place with several dining and drinking area which makes it very comfortable and they even have an outdoor area in back where you can enjoy your pint. The service was excellent and friendly. After dinner we enjoyed another pint and listened to the music and song in the main bar area. It was a very pleasant night and we were glad we selected this place among the many other choices in town.

We were in Ennis on a Saturday night. They had a great combo - a young woman singing on guitar and accompanied by a lad on a drum set. Played all favorites spot on. We stayed until almost one but it looked like the crowd was the right mix of well-behaved and having fun without getting out of control.

Set Alongside The Queens Hotel in the Lower End of this Market Town...Cruises is Exceptionaly Situated! Its only 5mins walk from most Hotels and across the Road From the Ancient River Fergus.
The interior is imediately welcoming, as its decor excudes Bags of Character...and at this time of the year...Early Winter, you can't but be taken in and impressed by, a Huge, Blazing Log Fire in the Lounge Area on the Right Side of the Room. Then as you Place Your Drinks Order you are suddenely aware that in another Lounge...Smaller and Very Intimate than the first, is yet Another Brightly Burning Fife!
Its a very Welcoming and Intresting place for sure, as much of the time Local Traditional Musicians, having Just Wandered in, set them selves around the Fires or Plentiful seating and before
you know it....you'r imediately in the Beginings of a Nite of Craic!
Much Music and Laughter was everywhere...where even as strangers, you are not going to be so for long....for sure.
Bar Meals...Simple but Very Very Good are served throughout by Lovely Friendly and Very Warm Staff and wether you are Young, Not So Young of Like Me...Young at Heart, You will have a Most Memorable and Enjoyable Time....I'll Drink To That!
