Loved this spot as it was in a wonderful location where you could walk to the center of town. Shopping was just right out the door & the rooms were comfortable & clean. Loved the restaurant/pub with wonderful food & the staff was top notch. I would definitely recommend this place & would stay here again...lovely.

This is a restaurant/hotel. We did not stay at the hotel, but attended a musical evening there. The performance included dinner at the restaurant, which was yummy. After dinner they moved us into another large room for the Irish House Party's performance. It was much more entertaining than I had originally thought it might be. The Irish House Party is a group that performs local Irish music and story telling, and a little bit of dancing. The group was warm and amusing, drawing many laughs from the crowd. It was an enjoyable evening. It is definitely geared more towards the tourists, but hey, there is nothing wrong with that!! Definitely a great idea to indulge yourself a wee bit, especially if you're tired of pub crawling!!

We recently stayed at the old ground hotel in Ennis for weekend break and thoroughly enjoyed it!, when we booked the hotel our room was upgraded to a superior room as it was our 1st wedding anniversary, when we went to our room we had a complimentary bowl of fruit from the hotel which we thought was a lovely gesture.
The rooms are spacious clean and very comfortable! Breakfast was excellent with something for everyone, we had dinner in the hotel on Saturday night which was very very tasty, good portion size and fast efficient service.
If you are looking for a hotel in ennis look no further !!!

Our cycling tour company reserved this pretty old hotel for us, and we were very pleased. No idea what it cost or what category of room we had, but it was huge and had comfy beds, a big bathtub...all kinds of comfort. Our quiet room had a small set of stairs inside the immense room--strange but nice in a way. Very sweet young men hefted our luggage up those and all the other stairs for us.

Great location in Ennis, a very manageable town with some nice restaurants and interesting things to see. Very good breakfast with great scones.

Brilliant hotel! We were upgraded to a suite when we arrived so that was a good start! The hotel is in the centre of ennis within walking distance to everything! Breakfast in the hotel was delicious as was the food in the bar which we really enjoyed! Staff were also very helpful and the hotel was really clean! The hotel was within driving distance to all tourist destinations like cliffs of moher! Wil definitely stay in the hotel again and will recommend to friends

Coming from shinrone on a group outing ,we stoped here for tea and scones. Lovely hotel very clean .The scones were to die for. We were on a bus ,very narrow driving in our bus driver hadnt any problem getting in. Lovely setting ,shops just around the corner .Lovely narrow streets ,going back in time. The hotel cut stone is something you dont see very often .This hotel is out of this world .

Room Tip: We didnt stay here, but talking to other visitors they were very pleased with the rooms .

Summary: Great location, clean, wi-fi signal was not good, nice restaurant and breakfast, good service overall. This belongs to Flynn hotels and our stay in Newpark hotel Kilkenny was good as well. This location is a bit pricey. The hotel is used by tour operators.

Room: Clean bed & bathroom, clean towels, good bed/pillows were not too soft or hard, SAFE in room worked fine. We stayed for 2 nights, and it was a welcome change from the B&B's. Make sure to mix up the accommodation between B&B and big hotels, this will keep a 2 week trip manageable.

Service & Amenities: Good service at front desk and restaurant. Good options for breakfast. Restaurant has live Irish music, and the musicians are very friendly. They asked my daughter to join them for a song and gave her a free instrument. We had a good time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from elevators and sticky fire doors that create a lot of noise. Can go and chec...
