We stayed for three nights over the weekend. The rooms were good, adequate in size and comfortable. There was considerable noise from late night revellers in the square, which our room overlooked but otherwise no complaints.
The restaurant looked very good but we chose to eat less formally in the bar. The food was excellent and the service very good. There was a gentle informal atmosphere in the bar, however the music provided on the Saturday night was questionable (one man and his organ!) and drove us from the bar, though I guess it would appeal to some.
Having left the bar we sat in the very comfortable drawing room/lounge and enjoyed our drinks there, so they have provided a retreat.
Breakfast was included in the price but would have been worth paying extra for. The food was plentiful and of excellent quality.
Overall would recommend this place.
