“Rural Retreat”

A Ti Glas is situated about 15 minutes from the bustling town of Ennis but is set right in the heart of the Clare countryside. Noelle and Jason were friendly hosts always ready to give advice and assist in any way. The cottage is rustic and charming and is a nice place to spend the time reading and relaxing while planning the next sights to visit. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a slice of real Irish life far from Temple Bar and the kissing of the blarney stone.

“Outstanding views of Rural Co Clare”
Reviewed 17 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

What a family retreat, from the moment we landed we where welcomed with homemade bread and fresh free range eggs which after travelling 4 hours in a car was just fabulous. Noelle greeted us a short time later along with her husband Jason, they told us all the lovely places to see like the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren which we really enjoyed. The house was spotless and had a quaint décor, the road was quiet so we could enjoy peaceful walks in the evening, overall An Ti Glas , Eco Cottage is a marvellous place to stay for people of all ages and I hope we get the chance to visit them again.

“Excellent stay - highly recommended!”
Reviewed 23 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We choose this spot based on all the previous reviews of the owners, accommodations, locations and hospitality. We were not disappointed!

Noelle and Jason were wonderful hosts. We were greeted with warm, fresh scones, homemade jam, fresh eggs and butter. Later in the week we enjoyed greens from their garden. Noelle and Jaosn were always around to lend traveling tips, a laundry basket for washing clothes, detergent for the washer and a dinner recommendation at the local pub, but never in the way. Coming home to the well-equipped cottage each night after a day of traveling was peaceful and comforting. We loved watching the cows travel back and forth down the lane twice a day!

Can't say enough about this place. We'd return in a heartbeat!

We had a lovely stay in the cottage and loved that it was far away from the rest of the world. We really enjoyed the stay in the lovely and cosy cottage. The family welcomed us very friendly. For the kids there was plenty of space to play in the garden. We're sure to come again!

“A perfect hideaway in the heart of County Clare!”

We found An Ti Glas last year and stayed just four nights - it wasn't long enough so we went back this month for a whole week. This little cottage, tucked in to trees and fields surrounded by Jason's vegetables and hens, is just perfect. It is peaceful, beautiful, cosy and Jason and Noelle are just the loveliest people. When we arrived the log burner was going, there were Noelle's home made bread, scones and jam on the table - and eggs of course - what a welcome.
The bustling city of Ennis is about twenty minutes away by car and the spectacular Burren about an hour. Both good to visit but it was always a joy to get back back to the tranquility of An Ti Glas.
Thank you Jason and Noelle for creating something very special.

“A cozy home away from home”
Reviewed 8 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

From the minute we opened the front door, we fell in love with this traditional Irish cottage. Our hosts welcomed us with scones, homemade jam, and salad greens from their garden, and were very helpful whenever we had questions. The cottage had a wood stove, comfortable beds, a nice hot shower, and was equipped with games and beautiful books on Ireland. Truly a highlight of our trip!

“Friendly, welcoming and quite lovely”

Our visit to An Ti Glas was fabulous. Noel and Jason were great hosts. There was homemade bread, jam and chickens from the hens waiting for us. We arrived a little late and in the dark but the heating was on and the fire was lit. This is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful location - the night sky was amazing. But we were only 25 mins from Shannon and 20 mins to Ennis. Noel and Jason were very helpful with suggestions as to where to go and what to do and while we felt they were nearby they were never intrusive. I would definitely go back. I have already passed the details on to a couple of friends.
