We being a party of 5 adults & 3 children stayed in this wonderful hotel for 2 nights. From the moment of arrival, nothing was too much trouble. Una offered colouring books, milk & cookies for the children. Never have we been offered that in any other hotel. The personal touch that this hotels offers is what makes it stand out from other hotels. The blueberry pancakes are the best i've ever tasted. We have stayed in Blarney a total of 3 times now, but never will i stay in any other hotel except Blarney Castle Hotel. 5 star service & hospitality. Can't wait to visit again.

This little hotel is very quaint but very comfortable. It is in within walking distance of the castle which was amazing. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. I would stay here again if given the choice.

Dined here last night in the bar. We had booked the lemon tree but it was very quiet so we chose to dine in the bar instead. Service and hospitality excellent. Mazaam is a lovely chap BUT it's really disapointing to have such a good menu and good fun and then get served frozen chips. Why? Frozen Chips are a real letdown to such a high class menu!

We wish to thank all the wonderful staff for a great day we had on 16th January to celebrate our Mother's 92nd birthday. Connie was outstanding in the care and attention she gave to all of us and made us so welcome. They had lovely white table linen and menu made out with mother's name on it. We all enjoyed the delicious food and the freshly baked birthday cake. Connie arranged for a gentleman to come in from the bar to sing a few songs for mother which made her day complete. So again to Connie and all the staff well done and thank you. We will be back. P.G. The Keane Family.

From start to finish everything about our stay at the Blarney Castle Hotel was wonderful and exceeded expectations. Its literally across the street from the Blarney Castle - breakfast was our favorite of the week - staff was unbelievable and definitely the best customer service we could imagine. We had left our iphone charger at the last hotel and kids were devastated. Staff looked all over the hotel for a space charger and then offered to let Mozam go home to get his personal one for us to use - thanks Mozam you saved the day! Next morning my daughter realized she had left her favorite ring in the room after we'd checked out. Manager looked for 30 minutes (even sorted through Laundry) but couldn't find it. Took our address but never thought we'd see it again. We had been home less than a week when the ring was delivered!!! Who does that these days? So grateful and impressed we will never forget this experience. Room was wonderful - comfy beds, spacious area, view of the green from huge windows and the food... wow! Can't say enough about this Hotel and the people in it.

Had a wonderful stay - Mozam was terrific; cared for us like we were personal guests in his home! ALL the staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel is old, but well maintained. Breakfast was included, food delicious...including the fresh catch for dinner, compliments to the chef!! The hotel is right in the middle of Blarney on the village green, a 5 minute walk to both the Castle and the Woolen Mills shopping complex. It is also a very popular pub with the locals, having live entertainment. Sound insulation is good on the third floor, we were not disturbed. We had a large en-suite room with a table, two chairs, TV, one double & one twin bed, free internet.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor, the pub activities get pretty loud in the evening

Blarney Castle Hotel is a place where locals ca eat like a king and those from far and wide may do so assured in the knowledge that it will be a fine dining experience and yet is not exclusive or a privileged place-instead it feels accessible. Fine dining is a very satisfying experience. One relaxes over food-our group of about ten were all members of a book club
The dining experience was augmented with a book discussion and a quiz.
Starters were wide ranging and varied in nature. Luckily I skipped starter and saved my appetite
for a huge main course served on a ten inch plate laden with great food. The salmon was on a bed of mash and sauce accompanied it. The succulent flavour, moist quality of the fish was glorious. There was a side of delicious fresh vegetables cooked al dente! there were potatoes too in an array of various ways of cooking..roast, mashed and au gratin. The waiters and waitresses knew lots about the historic location and were knowledgable about the vast menu. The presentation was inspirational. The piece de resistance about this place is its location situated in the heart of Blarney amidst building configured around a traditional square. A year or so ago Blarney was chosen by RTE television to feature on a program whereby the village would have a makeover. As a result this property has gained from improved environs. our Christmas visit was a splendid visit when the green on the square was illuminated like i image Boston Common looked when it was first illuminated during the mayoralty of Honey FitzGerald in the early twentieth century!
