My husband and I spent one night at Blarney Castle Hotel. Our room was great, except we did not have a wifi at the room, but the hotel lobby and other areas have wifi (the speed is very slow).
Hotel is in a very nice location, quite and very comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel, but breakfast was great. All of hotel personnel is kind, polite and helpful. It is walking distance to great restaurants like Durty Nelly's. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Blarney Castle Hotel.

We recently had a great night of Irish music at the Blarney Castle Hotel. We had a group of eight but our hotel called ahead and Sheila Barrett at the hotel had a table all set up for us. The music was great but just as charming were the local residents who made us all feel right at home. It was a wonderful night with great folks. We did not stay at the hotel but it looked as if it would be nice.

The Blarney Castle Hotel is old but has a lot of character. Right in the middle of the village by the green. The staff are all very nice helpful and friendly. Nice bar with atmosphere, music and good food. The rooms are large and clean facilities. Enjoyed our stay here

An entertaining and very enjoyable 30 minute visual presentation on the fascinating history of Blarney and the real meaning behind the tradition of kissing its famous stone. There are talks every hour or so (check for details) each day from 10.00am until late afternoon by Shane Lehane, local historian, archaeologist, folklorist and general expert in Irish Culture and Heritage.
Don't leave Blarney without taking the opportunity to learn the 'real story' of this famous and legendary place, and be highly entertained in the process!

I recently had a group of 25 adults staying 2 nights. The owners were extremely personable and very helpful. This hotel is simply charming. It is not a Hilton or Holiday Inn, but then why go to Ireland and stay in a modern, American hotel? The location is ideal. Walking distance to Blarney Castle and Blarney Woolen Mills. The owner hired Maggie McCarthy ( who played at the White House) to perform for our group. She and 2 male friends played music, sang and danced for 2.5 hours. My group was simply blown away. Each of the rooms are different sizes, but all comfortable with tea/coffee making and complimentary still & sparking water.
Breakfast was excellent served by charming and polite helpers.
I received rave reviews from ALL of my group who are very experienced travelers. You will have to climb stairs as there are no elevators.
Please stay in this hotel. You will not regret it.

The place was recommend by our host and we're so glad. Not only did we enjoy a nice dinner but we were treated to real Irish music, dancing and story telling. A fun filled evening. Do yourself a favor and take to stop in, even if it's only for something to drink.

I visited Blarney whilst sightseeing in Ireland, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, they have the beds spot on, they are Marriott/Hilton style beds (and I am a bed snob) they were very comfortable.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, I had a fireplace in my room with fresh flowers arranged in it every day. The hotel food is spot on, I have several severe food allergies and it is rare I can eat in a hotel/ restaurant, I had the lemon sole here one night and the bistro style burger another they were both fabulous and did not affect me in anyway, massively impressed with the kitchen a very talented chef.

The owner Ian and his wife could not do enough for me they even carried my case which had a computer in and was the size of a small elephant everywhere for me and brought me my car from the hotel car park on departure.

Breakfast is a massive choice from a menu served to your table not the usual cornflake buffet, lovely tea and coffee facilities in the room, free wifi, brilliant entertainment in the bar and lounge, overall a very enjoyable visit.

For sightseeing the famous Blarney Castle is a two minute walk away and certainly worth a visit, a fantastic example of Irish history.
