“Refurbished hotel next to the bus station”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

The location of the hotel is perfect especially for them who – like us – arrive in Cork by public bus transport and make bus trips e.g. to Cashel: the hotel is only 100 metres from the Parnell Place Bus Station. The immediate surroundings are not so pleasant, but the hotel is a recently refurbished, modern building. My wife and I stayed in Cork for 3 nights and paid for very spacious double including a newspaper and two bottles of water every day. The room was at the back side of the hotel, with views of former storehouses, Clarion Hotel and the spires of the cathedral in distance. The breakfast costed 8-10 euros extra per person. Twice we ate a light dinner in the bar of the hotel. The service in the bar and at the reception were smooth and polite.

Stayed here with my wife and child for one night to go shopping in cork city. The hotel is the perfect location for that. On arrival we were greeted by a pleasant receptionist who dealt with us very swiftly. The hotel and room was very beautiful and well maintained and have everything you need, however our room was very noisy from outside traffic. Breakfast was buffet style and had plenty to choose from. The biggest downfall of this hotel and the very same as all cork city centre hotel is the lack of parking. 10 euros a night in alternative carparks is just too expensive. Overall this hotel the perfect place to stay for your cork city visit

Good views and in the centre of town, beside all buses and trains. Big rooms, very clean and an excellent bed. Best of all is the buffet breakfast,: This hotel is excellent value for money, highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room looking over the river.

Recently spent five days at the Hotel and saw the refurbishment is almost complete.

The staff are a credit to the Hotel, and on late arrival were let into the car park as there was just one space left.

The rooms have all been refurbished and the purple colour scheme is very pleasant and calming.

Previous visits there has been a charge for wi fi, but now this is free throughout the Hotel which is so much better.

Well done Jury's Cork, you're doing a grand job!
