Just back from a girls weekend in the maryborough.there were 14 women and we had a ball! the level of service we recieved from deborah at check in to check out was truly 5 star. the staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble.the rooms are lovely and each of the ground floor open onto the garden . I would highly recommend dinner in zings where their manager is very friendly and pulled out all the stops for us.the cocktail demo is a must as is the spa.
a truly memorable experience and one I intend to relive. Thank you to you all this hotel should be 5 star.

Room Tip: Look for a balcony room on the second floor lovely seating for the evening and they overlook the gar...

Stayed in the Maryborough over Easter and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are very nice and the common areas and gardens are lovely. we fell in love with the thermal suite, it was so relaxing and then the pool is great aswell, Make sure you use it. we also found relaxing rooms across from the thermal suite where you can just chill out and read a book or listen to music which is provided on the chair. Our package included breakfast and one evening meal. The food was very disappointing but it didnt put a damper on our stay as we were in such a relaxed environment. We had a room to the back with a view of beautiful houses but we discovered at night we were also above where they disposed of all the bottles and the noise was terrible and so late at night/early in the morning so bring earplugs incase!!!
The hotel is only a short drive into cork city so its great for shopping and going out in the city!!
We would definitely go back to the Maryborough again and would recommend too!!

I can not recommend this hotel more, especially for a wedding. The staff could not have done anymore to help throughout the organisation and the day ran perfectly. The suites in the original house have to be seen to be believed - especially the bathrooms on the first floor!!!!! The food has never let us down and certainly didn't on this occasion, even though they were catering for 100. We heard no negatives on the day and certainly haven't since.

All the staff were incredibly helpful including the bar/restaurant, reception & porters but I have to give a special mention to Sean who never seems to go home, he seemed to be there from Thursday lunchtime til we left on Sunday, and he always was exceptionally helpful and had a smile for everyone. Another person who was outstanding was Niamh. She managed to keep a stressed bride very calm & was meticulous in her organisation to make sure our vision was met. Our wedding was also helped along by Hugh who we had met 18 months before when we first visited and he was amazingly calming helpful. It was wonderful to have him as part of our "Marybourough Team".

I look forward to visiting the hotel for meals and Spa stuff very soon. Again I can't thank you enough for what you did for us, our families & our guests

Room Tip: Either ask for a suite in the original house or a room with a balcony

Had our wedding at the marybrough a year ago and we had an amazing day. Food was 1st class as was the hospitality. We returned for a nights stay for our anniversary and I'm glad to say that standards have not slipped apart from my breakfast order going missing (these things happen) everything was bang on.
