I've stayed at several Cork hotels, so this is an informed opinion.
Pros: the bathroom was nice; updated, clean, and stylish, but not big.
The staff is so pleasant and kind, much like the rest of Cork (and Ireland).
Cons: The room was really plain and looks into another building, albeit a nice brick building.
I bought wifi, but it did not work in my room; the wifi in the lobby only worked for any of my 3 devices when I used my purchased code... it was supposed to be free.
It was a tad bit noisy, and might bother a light sleeper
Despite the cons, this is a fine hotel if you're looking for a great location, great price, and modest accommodations. It was clean and friendly, and connected to a wonderful restaurant.
Greene's restaurant is great, but does book up, so make resos.
