This was our first time visiting and we will be back.

Very friendly and efficient staff.
Tapas type menu with specials.
The food was excellent and good value
Our only reservation was the price of the wine which we thought was uniformally very expensive. There did not seem to be any reasonably priced house wines.
This served to inflate the overall cost very significantly.
However it did not spoil the overall experience which was excellent

Dear DFMac714,

Thank you for taking time to post a review and for your very nice feedback. We are very glad to hear you like our menu and food and find our staff friendly and efficient and enjoyed the overall experience.

Thanks also for your comments on the wine prices - we aim to try to find a selection of top quality wines in different price brackets to cater for all budgets, but it can prove quite a challenge finding good value wines in the entry level bracket that don't require us to compromise on quality. You may be aware that one of L'Atitude 51's objectives is to source wines from small, mainly artisan producers that are not widely known, as opposed to from larger companies. The downside of this is that prices can be a little higher, but we feel the wines more than make up for it in quality. However, as we value our customers' opinions, we are always on the search for new good quality wines that offer good value for money. We are currently in the process of making some changes to our list, and for sure will bear your comments in mind to see if we can source more wines at a lower price.

We are delighted to hear that you will be back to see us - hopefully we will have managed to make a few changes to the list to enhance your overall experience.

Thanks again for your feedback!

All the best

Dear TravelsRB,

Thank you for taking time to write this nice review. We are glad to hear that you like our place and really chuffed that you find it "chic". Although, we wouldn't class ourselves as a restaurant, food is of paramount importance to us and we try to cater for all tastes and keep things "fresh" by changing our lunch menu daily.

We hope to see you again soon for a gig or one of our events....or to discover some new drinks as we’ve just added Butter Coffee and Iced Coffee to our menu - definitely worth trying!

With best wishes

I usually chose this venue if meeting a group of friends for an occasion, as it covers all budgets, tastes, and both non and alcoholic drinkers. Last night our group of 12 was very well looked after by very friendly staff, and everyone loved the space upstairs!! The food was fantastic, good varied selection of nibbles and meals, in a lovely atmospheric setting. We all had a great night, it made for a special 'going-away-get-together', many thanks again!! Great venue overall!!

Dear Lucia,

Thank you for taking time to post a review and for your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that L'Atitude is your place of choice for meeting friends on those special occasions, and that you were well looked after on this last occasion for your 'going-away-get-together'. Our upstairs bar is ideal for informal gatherings as it is very relaxed and, as you say, 'atmospheric'.

We are happy to hear that you feel all budgets, tastes, and non and alcoholic drinkers are catered for adequately. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you think anything else could be improved.

We hope to see you and your friends again soon for coffee, wine or tapas, or even for one of our evening events.

All the best

Just to clarify, I have only been here at lunchtime and I would absolutely recommend it, with the caveat that the menu is not extensive. That is about the only place it falls down for me, the food itself is wholesome and hearty, service always good and the atmosphere first rate and relaxing. True, some people may not like sitting at a large bare wooden table to be joined by other people they do not know, but here it really works. In fact the atmosphere is so good it is difficult to get out the seat and head off outside again. Coffee is lovely.

Dear JGrant44.

Thank you for taking time to post a review and for your very nice feedback. We are delighted that people enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as that's exactly what we aim to achieve. We love good simple food which is perhaps why the lunch menu is quite limited; however we will take your comments on board and see if there's anything that can be done to offer more choice without overcomplicating things.

We hope to see you again soon for coffee or lunch...or perhaps some evening for Tapas.

All the best
Beverley
