We spent 2 nights at the Belvedere Lodge in May. The staff was so kind and amazingly helpful. They made wonderful restaurant suggestions and were around to answer our questions and call us a cab. That said, this lodge is far from downtown, or anything for that matter. It is a quick drive to places but after a day in the car, we didn't really feel like getting back in it.
For the price the room was good value but this home has definitely seen better days. Our bedding was vintage but clean. I would best describe this old vintage home shabby, shabby, almost chic!

Myself and a colleague stayed here for a week while on business in Cork. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown our rooms. The rooms themselves were nothing special but extremely comfortable and warm with bathroom en suite and plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was exceptionally nice with a tasty full Irish and plenty of tea!. There was also wifi which helped greatly. And ample parking too. It is situated just a nice distance from the hustle and bustle of the city so you can get a decent nights sleep

Stayed here for one night with the family. The room was spacious and clean. Had all that one needed. They have their own car park with more than enough room. Wifi was fine. Breakfast was good. Very happy with the B&B. If you want dinner there is one hotel up the road or it is a trip into town - approx 5 min drive. Overall would go back again.

We were two couples going to the B&B and we already knew that we were not going to find sth cheap to sleep in Ireland and then...the Belvedere Lodge appeared! The room was very nice with two double beds and one single bed and the price was totally worth it, we paid 84 for one night, which was 21 per person!

Hmmm... Served the purpose for a nights rest but not the greatest. The fan in the bathroom was filthy, quite a turnoff. A big operation. Definitely not a true B&B; more like staying at a hotel. I would not rush to go back there.
