“Really unfriendly & bad service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 October 2013

Went here for a few drinks after a meal months back. Terrible service and very unfriendly staff. I heard it was like a grown up Reardans/Havana Browns. This assessment was fairly true. Mostly people like myself who had just finished work heading out for a meal and a drink. Seemed like the whole thing was a bit "try hard" Trying to be cool and elitist, but just not hitting the mark ...it looks like it might be a cool pub from the outside, but it's just another corporate money pub full of idiots. Swore I wouldn't go back, but had to for a web summit a few weeks back. Same story, bar staff rude. The place was busy and mangers were pushing their way around. It doesn't cost anything to smile lads?

“Electric Bar - A Fish Gastronimic Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2013

We wanted to dine at the restaurant but there was no availability so we were sent to the "Bar", (where reservations are not required).

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It is a fish bar and everything was fresh and cooked in front of the clientele. We tried various different things and enjoyed everything.

The fish quality was superb, Electric chefs definitely know how to cook fish!

The staff is super friendly, really nice place for an evening’s meal if you happen to visit Cork (I would not rush back to Cork, we did not like it, but we LOVED Electric)

“Relaxing drink at tea time.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2013

My brother and myself were in Electric on Friday evening around 6:30pm in Cork and had a few drinks. To be honest the place was buzzing. Seemed like a lot of people go there after work or just to meet friend. They have plenty of tables, standing room and if the weather is good people spill out onto the boardwalk area with picnic benches. Music is low so a chat is possible. So for a Friday evening after work with an electric atmosphere Electric is worth a visit
