“Good value, nice staff, rooms a let down”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2013

We were at a wedding so stayed Friday & Sat. They offered a free room upgrade at check in (nice touch) the room was very spacious, no minibar and no safe. The bed was big but I've slept in better. The biggest problem with the room was heat when we arrived it was a little cold then at night too hot. The bathroom was fine good shower pressure.

The bar was nice good staff, only gripe was they kept switching the TV to watch what they wanted.

All in all nice looking hotel. Friendly staff, just needs a little attention to the customer.

i stayed in the mill park hotel over the easter weekend and i found it to be a lovely hotel with friendly staff and beautiful food, but the hotel was over run with unruley children running and shouting through the bar and again upstairs in the restaurant and in the reception area. there was actually no place to sit down in peace. none of the staff seemed to care about this and no effort was made to put a stop to it, even though it was 10pm. i would definately reccomend this hotel because the food was lovely and the room was comfortable and warm even though the bathroom was a little bit plain and clinical. breakfast in the morning was nice but the fried eggs i had were half raw so keep an eye on this, but my advice is to enquire if there are many children staying at your time of booking, because if there are and you are looking for a peaceful break then you wont get it at this hotel.

Room Tip: it doesent really matter what room you get because they all look out on the carpark

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and found the staff and service to be very good. The breakfast was excellent both days. This is a good location for walking into town and visiting the stores and the pubs. The room was clean and I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a good value for a good room.

Room Tip: Did not have any need for Kids activities as we were traveling with two other older family members.

We booked two nights in this hotel for a short break to Donegal. Upon arriving we were really impressed, staff were friendly, hotel looked very well maintained and clean and was in a great location.
We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, both were excellent, the breakfast especially, full buffet, excellent quality ingredients, all kept at right temp and nothing over cooked or underdone - easy to get these wrong however hotel got it just right. Definitely recommend a stay here to anyone.

We had our wedding here in February. most of our guests stayed here the night before the wedding and were amazed at how nice the hotel was and how good the service was.

The staff, the service and the food were top class. More than I ever expected! Mary the wedding co ordinator was BRILLIANT!. She made everything so easy from the date we booked our wedding until we checked out the day after the wedding!. All the staff were absolutely fantastic, and everything we asked for was executed to the finer details. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough as a wedding venue.

Staff excellent!! Food excellent!!

Thank you so much for making our day great!
