My husband and I enjoyed a two night break, greeted by lovely Rory and upgraded to the penthouse...what a start to our wee break. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff so friendly, approachable & helpful. Food & drink excellent, Kelly & the restaurant staff & Colin at the bar were all so lovely and welcoming...their hospitality was exceptional!!!! Colin makes a mean cocktail!!! We had a couple of spa treatments with Claire which were so relaxing and we totally felt the benefit of. Have returned home relaxed & chilled and so looking forward to returning to Harveys Point. We spoke with other guests who highly recommended staying on a Wednesday night for the cabaret....will take them up on this next time.

Room Tip: Any room.........all luxurious.

Great rooms, friendly staff and a lovely location - One of the best hotels we have visited in a long time. Nothing more to say except that next time we will definitely stay for longer than just two nights.

Our extended family spent a few days in Harvey's Point for my parents anniversary, they showed us what Donegal hospitality is all about. The staff were all so kind, professional and friendly, all our rooms were palatial, the facilities, the food and the cabaret were outstanding. This is one experience I will remember forever for all the right reasons. Thank you everyone at Harvey's for making a very special occasion very very special. Thomas Conway, Cookstown.

My husband booked a 2 night break to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We were greeted at the door by Sean a real asset to Harveys Point, a charming concierge. Room was amazing with a jacuzzi bath. We attended a cabaret night which takes place on a Wednesday evening the entertainment was first class and food was gorgeous this event was run to military precision. The hotel has the most beautiful setting where the only sounds that can be heard are from nature. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and must compliment all staff who i noted never failed to greet us even when passing in hallways. To sum Harveys Point up ' a little piece of heaven on earth'

My husband booked this hotel for 2nights as I had been ill. On arrival we were delighted to be upgraded to the Penthouse Suite. The suite of rooms were lovely and bright and the jacuzzi bath for two was so relaxing. We found all the staff very friendly and provided excellent service.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We hope to return before the end of summer.

Unfortunately, there's not much I can add to the accolades already bestowed on Harvey's Point by other reviewers, except that it is all true! Looking at the pictures of the rooms on the hotel website before booking, I wasn't sure if it would really be that grand for such a good price (Euro 158 for one night with breakfast for two), or if our room would really be as big (79 square m, 850 square feet) as advertised. Rest assured, it was! We had the "smallest" room and it felt more like an apartment. Two huge beds, a couch, super comfortable armchairs with ottomans and a large, flat screen TV. There was also an additional table with chairs and a large desk. You can do cartwheels, there's that much space!
The bathroom had three sinks, a gigantic shower cubicle and a jacuzzi so big that my husband joked we could swim laps in it. You can also turn on classical music, which plays while you enjoy a bath! At night, little night light nights illuminate the bathroom, so that you don't have to turn on the main light and wake up your partner (one of many wonderful extras). Thick, white terry bathrobes and slippers are provided.
As for the bed, it was so comfortable that I slept like a rock! Furthermore, the walls seem to be very thick, because I never heard a sound during the entirety of our stay.
We had dinner in the main restaurant at night, which overlooks the beautiful, peaceful lake. The meal and service were wonderful as was the breakfast the next morning with the most delicious fruit smoothies.
As for service, simply outstanding!!!
In sum, this is a 5 star place, despite a 4 star rating!!! Truly, a little piece of heaven!
PS: I was told Harvey's Point doesn't have 5 stars, because it has no swimming pool. Don't let that keep you from booking!

Just returned from a fabulous night at Harvey's Point Hotel. We booked a package that included Sunday lunch and an overnight stay. When we checked in we were told we had been given a free upgrade to the Penthouse!!! You can imagine our joy. It was huge it had a guest bathroom, a huge private bathroom complete with Jacuzzi, a living room with tv and dining room, a bar, hallway, huge bedroom with another tv and dressing room. I was in heaven. Our lunch was gorgeous as was breakfast next morning. We had it delivered to our room. To be honest I didn't want to leave. The staff are so friendly and helpful. This is our fourth visit it just gets better every time. Cant wait to go back. Thank-you Harvey's Point for another wonderful stay.

Room Tip: All bedrooms inside hotel are amazing.
