The only problem with the route - we came to 2 dead ends and was very frustrating - however we did find our way in the end.

We took a drive along the Bluestack scenic tour route. the views of the mountains and ocean were well worth the drive. There was a tall waterfall that we were able to take pictures of . plenty of friendly sheep along the way.

We loved this area for hiking or driving, but be warned that the roads are very narrow and curvy, so drive with utmost caution! The views around the mountains are gorgeous. Wear good boots as there are sheep everywhere!

I really enjoyed to walk in the Bluestack moutains. You are at the same time between ocean (when weather is good), and the countryside (beautiful hills and valleys). Just a regret : electric turbines are being built. If it's a good solution for environement, it's not so pleasant to walk beside. Don't foget to close all the gates you need to open because of the sheeps.
