Our 2nd stay at this little gem of a place..Soooo clean..comfy beds with lovely fresh linen..Stylish decor and free Wi Fi..Set in tranquil countryside with stunning views yet close enough to Donegal town.. I cant recommend Rosswood Cottage enough at any time of the year and Gareth Browne the host is a treasure..Always so welcoming and helpful..We cant wait to come back and we havent even left yet! 10/10 ++❤
We stayed in rosewood for an overnight stay while attending a wedding I have to say rosewood exceeded my expectations on everything Gareth was so accommodating and messages back straight away to my queries and the location is beautiful we shall definitely come back for another stay
Lovely cosy cottage inly 4km out of town. Very serene and set in beautifully kept grounds. Lovely trees, birdsongs and view of the water. Completely private even though other houses nearby. House was very comfortable with everything you need. Not once did we feel at all cold. The owner Gareth delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. He was prompt and helpful with communication and queries. Even gave us some wellies to go for a walk in. I find it impossible how you could rate this gem of accommodation any lower than 5 stars. Thanks Gareth. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful clean & picturesque cottage ,the views are amazing and the walks around the bay so relaxing , it’s well maintained & looked after by Gareth & he can’t do enough for you from giving tourist advice ( slieve league cliffs ) awesome place & harveys point (fabulous hotel/resort & restaraunt) to the dog friendly pubs (old castle ) & (Dom pier 1 ) & (quayside) & smugglers creek ..all well recommended ...even turning up with bin bags , toilet rolls etc thankyou ..top place top guy , top dog friendly destination

Myself my husband & 10 year old daughter stayed here. It was the most beautiful relaxing, comfortable & nice and cozy warm cottage.i would highly recommend it for a family or just couples. Definitely worth a visit.
COLD, COLD, COLD and COLD. You get no control over heating, only what the owner thinks is fair, which apparently means no heating after 11pm. The cottage includes a leaflet which tells you to contact the owner if the property is too cold, which we did, only to get a reply saying to "close the curtains to keep the heat in and get over it". Good thing we took our showers in the evening as there was not enough hot water in the morning. What can I say, the cottage must be lovely in the summer, but should not be rented in the winter under those heating settings.
