We have stayed twice over the years and look forward to spending New Years Eve there this year. We enjoyed going to their yarn/sweater shop in the village in the past and having Sean show us the local sites in town. Just like family in a place that feels like you are staying in your favorite grandmothers house.

I read a poor review among the rest and couldn't imagine it. They complained of being seated at a family sized table for breakfast as others were about ready to go. Well it is a house and there is only so much room! Sounds like they got up late and crabby to me. Not at all like our experiences.

Room Tip: All good. Great place.

We always stay in B&B's when in Ireland and of all places we have stayed, Ardeevin Guest House is by far the nicest. We have stayed there on three different occasions and each time the room was beautiful, the breakfast delicious, and the Sean and Mary were wonderful hosts.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful and any room is a good choice.

Very nice guest house in a lovely location over looking Lough Eske ,It was a little hard to find but worth the effort a real home from home. The room was beautifully decorated. The owners were very friendly and the food was excellent. we will be back.

The last four days of our three-week tour of Ireland were spent at this delightful B&B a short distance from Donegal town. Our hosts, Mary and Sean were warm and gracious and treated us
like we were part of the family. We were offered the larger room on the second floor, but opted for the Eske room on the first floor with a bay window that had a view of Lough Eske. The bed was the most comfortable we had in any of our accommodations.

We especially enjoyed Mary's homemade breads and the made- to- order breakfasts. The French Toast was our favorite as was the table in the dining room by the window that afforded a priceless view.

Staying here our last four days made us feel we had been in the "real" Ireland and was a perfect, ending to a wonderful trip. We hope we have the opportunity to stay here again.

Room Tip: The hosts make a special effort to put guests in rooms that suit their guests. Because we were staying four days, they had selected a larger room upstairs, however, we preferred the "Eske" room on the first floor. We liked the big bay window and not having to climb the stairs!

We are an older couple who had a fabulous stay here this summer. Our room was fantastic and perfectly furnished and decorated. Everything right down to the bed was comfortable and just right. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming with Mary going out of her way to make everything about our stay perfect. I am a coeliac and Mary provided a home made menu fit for a king- better than any 5* hotel or restaurant. That together with the splendid views of the idyllic Lough Eske made out stay very special indeed- we are already planning our next visit!
