Booked three rooms for 2 nights for a hen party. Location only 10 mins from temple bar, although be warned some of apts look out onto a dodgy part of to own , looked like a community centre with lots of kids hanging around, didn't detract from our stay though.

Bedroom carpets need replaced but everything else was to hand that we needed. Reception were very helpful but I didn't like the way they gave out random keys to apartments, twice I was given wrong key without ID being requested.

Overall perfect base for a hen party.

Room Tip: We had 24, 39 and 43, 43 was very quiet and lot of windows so light, 24 on 1 st look was a lot darke...

Was booked in a Staycity near by and on arrival was told for some reason my room was not available so I then had to walk to this hotel. After check in had to carry bags up the stairs, down the stairs across the courtyard down more stairs through a codded door before getting to apartment that was on ground floor very dark, cold with no heater working in lounge, no remote for TV, tiles on all floors except bedrooms where the carpet was stained. The hall outside has fire doors and every time someone walked through there was a loud bang that went right through apartment. Felt I was down graded from what I had booked. Happy to move on.

Room Tip: Insist on an upgrade when told room booked is not available.

We originally booked 4x one bedroom rooms - 3 were upgraded to doubles upon our arrival (thank you). There were 17 of us (4 families). Excellent location to walk and explore Dublin. Very close to Hop On Hop Off Bus and Airport Link bus service. Rooms were very clean - even had a good night's sleep on the sofa bed. Bathroom was very tidy. All facilities worked in the rooms. Great value for money! Would highly recommend Staycity Augustine St.

These apartments actually exceeded our expectations. We booked a one bedroom and got a two bedroom, so we had much more room than usual. The location was just fine and we walked everywhere. The staff was excellent. We had very small problems with the washer and a missing remote control and they were fixed within hours. The only nitpick I have is minor (and it seems to be standard for European countries). The "dryer" isn't really a dryer in the American sense. It kind of pulls out the water but never heats up and fluffs like we are used to. A huge plus for this apartment was the oven in the full equipped kitchen. It was so nice to be able to bake and roast food rather than just microwave everything. We will definitely return here when we travel back to Dublin.

I booked 2 nights stay in the Penthouse Suite around 4-5 months before our trip on the 13th September.

Our plan was to spend Saturday on the rooftop terrace relaxing with a couple of beers, before heading to the dogs at Shelbourne later that evening. The Sunday would be spent at Curragh races, before a check out on Monday morning.

We arrived much earlier than usual check in and asked if our room was available, we were told it was not, but they would call us when it was. We were directed to a storage room with lockers to leave our luggage, most of the lockers were broke, tatty or out of order and it cos 2 Euro to leave a piece of luggage there for a couple of hours.

At around 1.30pm we were told our room was ready and headed back, once finalising payment, we were given keys for the 4th (out of 5 floors) We thought this was strange, had we had booked the 'Penthouse' but went up to have a look.

Upon opening the door, suprise suprise it wasnt the Penthouse suite, headed back down stairs and after a brief chat was told the Penthouses were fully booked and there had been an error from 'Laterooms' when sending the booking. We were told we may be able to change to the Penthouse for the following night, but we would have to take our issue up with Laterooms as it is their error.

The room we had was tidy, but not clean. There were various horrible stains on the carpets in the bedrooms aswell as scrapes on the walls. Also for a 'Luxury Apartment' the TV is tiny, and there is no TV in any of the bedrooms.

We were offered the Penthouse at Sunday dinner time, but at that point a move seemed pointless.

Location is perfect, less than 10 minutes to Temple Bar, the place as the potential to be a real luxry appartments (rooms are spacious with good decor), but at the moment the place is far too tatty to be called that. Valuewise, booking early saved us a lot of £, had I have paid full price, I would have been furious.

It has been 3 weeks to the day, since we departed, Today I was sent an email through Laterooms, saying StayCity had taken the responsiblitiy and due to a human error 'Human Error' have refunded me a measly 43 Euros.

Our apartment was less than a 10-minute walk to Temple Bar/Grafton Street area. The apartment was quite, tastefully furnished, and fully equipped. The staff was delightful and helpful. We look forward to another stay one of these days!
